Sophie and Benedict at the 10th Annual LACMA ART+FILM gala on Nov. 6th, 2021.
this isn't a big deal but stop letting these gays on social media guide you. nothing is gay culture. everything is gay culture. no need to buy fugly clothes and pins just because. if you don't wear rainbow top to bottom you're still a part of the community. clothes can be used to be a means of expression of your identity, but they're not a tool with which to focus on one part of you in a way which is easy to consume for others. it's a beautiful sentiment to find togetherness in this community, of course, but you can do that by being friends and being there for each other and by being a good person. help others. that's the meaning of community. not cold coffee.
reblog and put in the tags the real reason you joined tumblr no matter how horrible or embarrassing it is
you know whatâs a good feeling? a real good feeling?
when sunbeams do this.
that is all.
Why do we say that capitalism must be âdismantledâ?
Youâll hear phrases like âSmash the state!â âEat the rich!â and âSmash capitalism!â
And, yes, of course, but⊠:)
However relevant those sayings are, our work must be careful, highly organized and above all planned.
Because capitalism and all of its associated systems are not discrete, abstracted entities we can attack independently.
It is a structure, like a complicated machine with many thousands of working partsâŠ
And right now it is connected to absolutely everything.
If we do this⊠[picks up huge hammer and smashes the machine]
Then a lot of vulnerable people will die.
The machine was built and improved and redesigned and patched over the course of generations. It is very good at its intended purpose, which is ultimately to generate profit.
Every human being alive today relies on the byproducts of the machine to survive, without exception.
The machineâs engineers want it to keep working like it does. In fact, they want to optimise it.
That will kill all remaining life on Earth.
So, we must destroy the machine, quickly and carefully
We must examine its deadly programs and mechanics and replace them with alternatives we built together.
The engineers donât want us tampering with the machine.
However, we make it runâŠ
So we can make it STOP. Together.
How will YOU help us to safely dismantle the machine?

sorry, i cant today, im too busy thinking about the part of âinsideâ where he finally goes out the door and you think its going to be the cathartic, hopeful resolution, and instead he ends up on a stage and has a panic attack and breaks down while the audience laughs at him
like, the most compelling ships for me always stem out of one thing: the characters have a profound, ongoing effect on each otherâs senses of selves. when they are apart, the charactersâ actions are still affected by each other. the way they approach the world changes because of the other.Â
which is this deeply Austenian view of ideal romantic relationships as mechanisms by which we come to know ourselves better and become better versions of ourselves. good romance, for me, is always tied in with a sense of self-actualization, and the way in which a beloved partner allows a person to know themselves better.
your existence isnât just taking up space. you donât just exist here, you inhabit space that was meant for you wherever you go. a spot for your shoes, a curve in your mattress where you get comfortable, a wardrobe with your scent, half-empty soap bottles, journals filled with your handwriting, a seat in class or place at work or both. this world already has been adjusted to you and you belong here, every part of you does. even if youâd pack up your belongings and move across the world, it wouldnât be nothing. it would only highlight the fact that you are part of what makes an environment a life, and your absence carries weight even if you donât think so.
thatâs it folks
enough...........
oh fuck
let me tell you a secret â sometimes i think this might all be a bad dream. every now and then, when the world is quiet enough, when the yellow light hits the ceiling just right, i feel like a child again. sometimes i wish i could find the spot where time is the weakest, touch it, tear it apart, and wake up on the sofa, behind my parentsâ backs where iâve crawled after some nightmare. from the tv, a laugh track. iâm pretending to sleep. itâs summer. see, the balcony door is ajar. see, thereâs a mosquito trying to get in. see, my heart isnât aching. see?

HP FESTS: DramioneFanfictionWriters (Part 3)
Never Apologising For Our Wild 2019:
Fractured by MrsRen - M, 3 chapters - Sheâs writhing on the floor, spitting in a Bellatrix Lestrangeâs face, when it happens. Hermione Grangerâs mind fractures amidst the torture, and when she wakes, friends and family find that she is not who she used to be. In the middle of a war, Hermione thinks sheâs exactly who she needs to be.
Ninety-Three Percent Stardust by otterlyardent - G, one-shot - Often, when a person falls for someone, they canât remember the exact moment it all changed. But that wasnât the case for Draco Malfoy. The moment had forever been emblazoned in his memory.
Dear Shakespeare by msmerlin - M, 3 chapters - When the fates bring together two opposites, will the love they have be able to overcome the years of obstacles that follow? Seventeen years of relationships ups and downs told through a series of vignettes.
Coiled, Falling by bionically - not rated, one-shot - Sheâs locked in a tower when he finds her, bewitched and imprisoned.
Absinthe by TheMourningMadam - E, one-shot - Hermione becomes ensnared by Draco Malfoy, despite the fact that he is a taken man.
Magical To You by fandomfairytales - T, one-shot - based on the Nikita Gill poem/prompt: she would rather be magical to you, than belong to you.Follows Draco coming to understand such a concept and how it applies to one Hermione Granger.âHermione was in his kitchen, her cheeks rosy, the heat of the ovens toasting the air, humming along with the house elves as they worked; Completely out of her element and making herself at home at the breakfast bar, she was an utter paradox, all Draco could do was stare. It would have been less surprising to find a unicorn or some other rare magical creature there⊠Later, he would wonder if perhaps she was one, in a class all her own.â
My Poetry by mcal - T, one-shot - Draco has been looking forward to this quiet moment with Hermione all week. A short stand alone written for the DFW Nikita Poem Challenge. Dramione. EWE Â
