soo i’ve never done one of these before. but seeing as 2018 is already off to an amazing start, and after being on here for over 4 ish years and meeting so many lovely people… i felt like it was time for me to finally do one of these.

even if you aren’t mentioned in this, i promise it’s not because i don’t appreciate you! i love every single one of y’all, but there are certain people out there that i feel need to be recognized. (also this is probably going to get a bit cheesy haha)

this person has their own section, because it’s for one very special friend in my life who has stuck by me for so long and helped me out when i needed it most. ben. ben, you are such an amazing person. like i’ve gone on about how much i appreciate you but i can do it again. thank you for being there or me, for hearing me out when i have a crazy idea and letting me spam your messages at 3 in the morning without a care. you’re talented and awesome and great. like i don’t think savie would be here without you, and i mean that. so here’s to you ben, thanks for sticking by me. <3

so there are a lot of people that i’ve known for a couple years, but these guys? they are the ones who have known me from the very very beginning. by that, i mean they knew me when i was a weird 12 year old with a little mouse oc sending anonymous messages to these blogs trying to roleplay with them through asks. because, yes, that was something i did. and these are the people who were there to experience those moments. when i say that savie would never ever be here if it weren’t for you guys, i mean that. y’all helped me grow as a person and develop this character in ways that could not have been done otherwise. y’all supported me even when i was 12 with a severely under developed oc. i’m so grateful for all of you. i don’t talk to most of you guys as much as i used to, but we’re all still on good terms and i consider y’all friends. i’m so happy that after so many years we still managed to be on tumblr. so here’s to you guys. thanks for sticking around, for helping me, for…. well, everything :)

Head swiveled from side-to-side. Still trying to locate them, pinpoint where they were. Though it wasn’t going to be long considering how close he’d gotten to that blackened jug. Though he stopped again at that familiar name, “Oswald? His fortress…?”

Now he was thoroughly confused. He only knew of Oswald and the cards present here, besides the excitable bunny children. Only a handful of “adventurous” souls had dared to climb higher on the Mountain’s banks.

Now he was starting to get angry, “Alright, enough playing. Come out and show yourself.”

Blot shuddered at the voice, noting its darkening tone and hurrying their pace- only to drop to their knees next to the edge and peer over, unsure if they wanted to be seen.

“Yes, the fortress- and I’m.. On the platform? The one just next to the Jug- and I’m not hiding, where are you??”

Scanning the area below, they tried to pick out any form that didn’t blend into the general color scheme of the Mountain- they were still bad with colors and such, but maybe whoever this was was close enough for them to tell..?

As soon as the location was said, he took the appropriate steps to where he needed to be, before looking upwards. Rather rushed, he gave a final huff. Not quite used to walking so quickly. As for who he saw, it was someone he couldn’t recognize. It made him snarl, the growl he was producing was both low and threatening. Mostly as someone who shouldn’t be here and for someone to also waste his time. The spines cresting between his shoulders bristled unnerved.

Of all the places he should have looked and the one place he didn’t. Should have been more aware, especially of the places up on this Mountain. Guess he could have considered his own fault.

Now he was staring someone directly in the face, “Who are you?”

The toon blinked- and with that, there was.. someone standing just in front of them, their expression and sudden growl making them nearly shriek in surprise as they zipped backwards. Scrambling on all fours, they put a hand to their chest and heaved a breath before peeking over again, eyes full of fear and the curlicue atop their head dripping just slightly. 

“I’m- I’m Blot- Who are you??”

Small and nonthreatening as they might be, they did their best to keep cool and somewhat collected, even after their initial shock.

Getting up slowly, the toon turned to face the other end of the platform with a wary stare before heading slowly towards it. They weren’t sure why.. But this person- they weren’t even sure if they were a toon- sounded so familiar.. But they were sure they’d never heard it before.

“In the castle. Oswald’s old place.”

They weren’t sure how much slinging around the king’s name would do for them, but it was good to try, right?

⊱🎀⊰ —❝w-well… n-no. i dunno. i think it’s small-ish…❞ she didn’t get a good look at the object, but it was quite shiny from a distance. she would like to believe it’s small, given the fact that she’ll have to carry it back to the observatory.

❝it’s kinda dark out… but i do have a flashlight!❞ it was a pocket-sized one that fit right into her skirt pocket, and she pulled it out to show to her new friend. turning it on, she aimed it to the far left of the duo, illuminating the thinner and objects around it. 

❝i think it landed over… over there!❞ the mouse pointed a little ways downhill of them, but not too far. ❝c-c’mon, this way!❞

Of all the things he’d been trying to ignore, was the frequent observations with his blotlings. They’d been nagging him over the past few days and he was starting to loose his patients with them. Even threatening to swat them away if they didn’t stop. It was more than aggravating, but alas, he gave into the request. Soon questioning them about this new inquiry. All now pointing up towards the Mountain.

Now his curiosity was drawn. He’d already been there over the past week and had nothing interesting pop up then. Guess this was after he left, to which he felt guilty over not listening. Heading back towards that desolate place.

It didn’t take him long to get there, but the climb was always a challenge on his part. He really needed to find an easier path for himself, though that would be for another day. Now simply looking around for the intruder here. Looking around all the thrown away tidbits here or there.

Soon enough catching a glimpse of someone. Yelling out to catch their attention, “Hey! What are you doing on the Mountain?!”

Everything was still tonight, it seemed. It drove Blot nuts, having everything so quiet and dead- they missed the usual tomfoolery they’d been a part of before, even on the sidelines. Exiting their.. Well, not their home, but where they were living for the time being- the toon sighed as they gazed across OsTown, trying to find some way to escape the stillness of the once-lively town.

They ended up climbing the gate to get to Mickeyjunk Mountain, carefully navigating their way to the top of the mountain- the very cleared area where Mickey himself had fought the Blot. Settling on the edge, their legs dangling, the toon sighed and looked to the bottle- that fateful bottle, that they’d often snuck off to tap at. Empty as it was, they wondered what it was like inside..

They were torn from their reverie by a voice, though, yelling out with what seemed like confusion- and perhaps a twinge of ire. The curlicue atop their head bounced as they turned sharply, eyes wide with surprise- no one lived here now, did they??

“.. I am? Who’s there?”

Blot leaped nearly a foot in the air- it was mostly impressive because of how short they were, and a whiny sort of teary-eyed look crossed their face as they landed and crossed their arms. It dropped upon seeing exactly who had startled them, and they went slack-jawed and wide-eyed.

“Don’t do that- wait- you??”

Breaking into giggles, the tiny toon put a hand to their mouth and beamed; they weren’t sure where Claude had come from, but the joke was greatly appreciated!
