it was always point A to point B, always black or white, no gray, either this or that... that was my mentality. i never cared for or ever focused on the in between. i was wrong. the gray, the mini stops, everything along the way is just as important as the beginning as well as the end. everything in between are what makes you, what shapes you, & what teaches you. i never realized how much on auto pilot i have been. i feel like i’ve missed out. now, when i sit in traffic, as i cross the bridge, the lake is so much more beautiful. i watch the sunlight as it kisses the water. i enjoy the warmth of my coffee as i watch the steam dance upon the top. i soak everything in. it’s no longer point A to B for me. it’s all and everything in between, and i’m only half way there. i’m only half way to experiencing the wonders of life. i know there is so much more to come. & i can’t wait.✨ • • • #newmindset #enjoylife #personalrant #halfwaythere #theodoreroosevelt #inspirationalquotes #newpagesoflife #loveyourself #livelovelearn

i’m coming more in tune with my body, listening to what it wants, doing what it takes to satisfy its needs. from food in take, to poetry for the mind, to music for the bones, to learning different ways to release endorphins for the soul; i’ve learned to go with how i want to flow. i’ve learned to love what i’ve been given despite the situation. this #transformationtuesday is almost 2 years exact. (L) cardio & unhealthy eating habits. i went to the gym at least 3x a week. i was mentally and emotionally unstable. life started to curve and i was next to bat. throughout the year, i broke down & had to rearrange my pieces differently. i challenged myself to be comfortable around all the testosterone at the gym & started lifting. i redirected my focus. fast forward to now, i still have my downfalls, but my mental has been more controlled. i switched up my diet which impacted my life tremendously. you know, honestly, i wasn’t expecting a dramatic change, but i can tell you, i feel the transformation from within. • • • #momswithtattoos #momwholift #thefutureisfemale #mombod #fitmom #transformation #caterpillartobutterfly #asian #filipina #nerdswholift #fitfam #lovethyself #healthyself #motivation
