Amaya on a Friday Night, ft. her 3 (boy)friends
'Click', the sound of the entrance door to the apartment as it closed, in front of it is a red-haired woman, taking of her ridiculously long knee-length boots. They're black and sturdy, she thinks, compatible with her line of work. Work coat back on it's hanger, beside her much needed hat. Sighing, she plops down toward her bed still in work attire. You see, the supposed living room has been made her bedroom, wardrobe included, the only other available room was given to Shira, who, granted her teen age needs the privacy.
Today was a long day at work, all paperwork no field jobs. Bless it was a Friday. It was only 6 p.m., maybe she could go eat outside. But who would she go with ? It's not like Shira wants to follow her, that angsty teen would rather sit inside her room and do who knows what. So then she thought, "Maybe I'll go out with them, they rarely ever reject an invite for me, and spending time with them is really great, yeah. I'd love that". Groggy-eyed she starts a group call with 'love square'.
"Hey do you guys want to go out for dinner?"
"Yeah, I'll go anywhere with you" replied by a soft almost asleep voice.
"Eating out? Are you sure? Do you even know what he'd say if-" not even able to finish his sentence, the silky voiced male is cut of by,
"Eating out?! Eating out?! In MY presence?! Amaya you've gone insane you know I can do better than all those restaurants please tell me you've gone crazy, who knows what'll happen to me if my girlfriend started complimenting a random restaurant's chef's cooking before she praises mine!" this interjection was done by a slightly desperate tone of voice, but why wouldn't he be? His oh so beloved girlfriend wanting to eat out?! And NOT eat his marvelous cooking? Truly a scandal.
"Yeah we could eat Min Jun's cooking too, I'm feeling like a cold soba" was Amaya's response to his little tantrum.
"I'm already on it, four servings of cold soba coming right up." He hanged up straight after.
"So.....see you guys at 7?" chided in the silky voice.
"Yeah" was the only reply the sleepy one could muster.
