OOC | Molly & Abed
OMG IDEK CAN YOU EVEN PICTURE THESE TWO TRYING TO HAVE A CONVERSATION???? Actually, Abed would probs understand her better than virtually any and every single other person out there but she'd just be like WUT IS HAPPENING the whole time and like lots of stammering and awkward pauses???? But that also characterizes like 700000% of her interactions, sooo ;DDDD Actually, in a way, she might be more comfortable with someone like Abed than with other ppl??? And can you imagine them playing Dungeons and Dragons or something together? Or her showing him the morgue? HAHAH

Sherlock & Molly
sherlock caps 5/?
he wasn't actually my boyfriend. we went out three times. i ended it.
i can’t handle how cute louise brealey is (3/?)
ooc | Jack & Molly
So, we talked about these two briefly, but not really? Basically, that they’d def see each other at work sometimes although it’s super bad, b/c most of the time they would, would probs be after a patient of Jack’s didn’t make it and WOW. Bc he takes that sooo hard and #sobbing.
Ughhhhh POOR JACCKKKK So, Molly would TOTALLY try to comfort him. We all know she's not very good with this (even Sherlock told her it wasn't her area, ok HAHAH), but she'd def care and wanna help. I can also see her, like, grabbing lunch with him bc idk she's nice & he's nice and, while she def likes sociopaths (yeahhhhh), she def appreciates kindness as well plus she'd probs wanna geek out about doctor things bc I feel like she actually really likes her job in her own way, yknow?
ooc | Jim & Molly
Okay, so I feel like Molly and Jim would be good friends? IDK about much further than that, but I feel like they’d get along and he’d think she was kinda adorable and sorta look out for her, and be a bit amused by her, especially when she’s kinda awkward. <3
OMG yesss!!!! I feel like they totally would!! I'm not really sure how they'd meet, exactly, (unless they've known each other for awhile now or something??? idk) but I feel like they'd totally get along and she'd like that he doesn't take things too seriously bc like she's not good with that, herself, tbh. HAHAHAH
ooc | Kaylie & Molly
Okay, so Molly is Kaylie’s aunt. And the one family relationship that it’s important that Kaylie has is Hank Hooper, who is her grandfather (which would mean that it’s Molly’s dad?) But i know that Molly’s dad is supposed to be dead, plus she’s British and Hank and Kaylie aren’t. So, I was thinking that maybe Molly’s parents divorced? And like her mom was British and she moved back to England with Molly and remarried and that’s why Molly isn’t super wealthy like the rest of them? Thoughts??!
Anyway, Hank Hooper is super rich bc he’s the founder of Kabletown (which is like Comcast, basically). And he’s looking to retire soon and the only person who could really potentially take over from the family as CEO would be Kaylie when she’s older. And that’s totally what Kaylie wants to do with her life. Which is how she gets to be rivals with Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin), who also wants the job.
Also, I can see where Kaylie might be hesitant about Molly at first, too. But after she meets her I think she can tell that she’s not CEO material, haha.
Anyway, some stuff I remember about Hank:
~ He’s a hugger (doesn’t count as a hug unless it goes on for ten seconds) ~ He’s a huge family man and is all about doing things as a family ~ And despite being rich he’s not a snob or anything. Like he likes ppl from all walks of life. ~ He’s like always smiling and happy and a real goof (like he’s kinda a big kid sometimes) ~ But there are like some small things that just get him. Like don’t ever forget his birthday.
Also, I think that Kaylie feels that her best shot at getting back home is to pretend that she just really misses her family/friends. And she’ll play up the sweet, vulnerable, teenaged girl act. And she’ll probably do things like fake “cry herself to sleep” just loud enough that she knows that Molly will hear her. And tell Molly how she really didn’t put the pictures up online of a classmate that got her expelled in the first place. And basically get Molly to tell her parents that she needs to come home.
Yes! Divorce def works!!! HAHAHAHA omg au in which Molly is a CEO ~terrifying (to no one more than Molly tbqh). Anyway, I feel like Molly def comes from a really sad - but in an ordinary kind of way so no one feels sorry for her - background so like I feel like that suits her perfectly.
HAHAHAH omg I'm just imagining Molly and Hank and just ommmmggggg HAHAHAH Poor Molly. Fortunately, I think she'd always remember his birthday.
OMG poor gullible Molly would TOTALLY buy it, too!!!!! She'd be like THIS IS THE SADDEST THING COME HERE LET ME HUG YOU HERE PLAY WITH MY MULTITUDE OF CATS WANNA COME TO THE MORGUE idek. Molly + a teenager is like the weirdest/best thing in the world basically????? Also, I really want to see Sherlock/Kaylie tbqh but MOOOOVING ON.
I also feel like she'd be like, "I know what it's like to be lonely for home," and yeah. She'd totally sympathize, basically. And omg maybe introduce her to Moriarty...AWKWARD.
Molly Hooper broke up with the most dangerous man in Britain.
But not before she’d introduced him to her cat and made him watch Glee.
Have I mentioned recently how much I love Molly Hooper? No?
I love Molly Hooper.
Chameleon | Molly & Jim
Jim Moriarty needed a pawn, Molly Hooper would happily obliged. Well, she was not really a pawn, to be fair, just an embellishment for the game he was playing with his favorite consulting detective. There were a number of clever ways to get introduced to Sherlock for the first time, but Moriarty wanted to surprise and poor, sighing, pathetic, and heart-broken Molly was going to help him along. In all honesty, Moriarty probably didn’t need the sad, little invisible mouse at all, but he could not pass up the chance to have fun with someone that Sherlock probably made cry at night.
She was so terribly easy to read. He hadn’t even spoken with her and he already knew that “Jim from IT” would be the sort of man that Molly would be drawn to, like a helpless moth to a flame. Someone who was not at all like Sherlock, someone who listened to her, who cared about her, who treated her how she wished Sherlock would.
How adorable, someone had an actual crush on Sherlock. How delightfully peculiar.
He watched her for a moment, through the window as she moved about grabbing test tubes and syringes on her way to the microscope. Baby, you won’t know what hit you.
"Hi, I’m Jim. Jim from IT. Heard you were having computer troubles?"
Sherlock had told Molly, once, that it was impossibly to hide anything from him. One look, at he'd know, but no one knew better than Molly that this wasn't entirely true. Of course, he'd been talking about facts: she was thinking of emotions.
He'd rattled it off once and, occasionally, she thought of it to herself each morning as she put on her clothes. Loose fitting garments: she didn't want to be looked at. She liked blending into the woodwork: she was better at listening than talking (as Sherlock had pointed out at the time, that much was perfectly obvious). Large knit sweaters: old but clean. She wanted to be comfortable, to feel enveloped. She was steady, not given to loud bursts or abruptness. She was frugal, both in terms of saving and in other ways, and she was sentimental: hanging on to things that had been given to or made for her years ago. She had good bones, a pretty enough face, but she never did anything with it.
He'd called her a mouse and she'd known he was right. She was efficient, never ostentatious, more concerned with the feelings and needs of others than her own. Her life was pathetic enough, yet she managed a peculiar kind of cheer, awkward and roundabout as it might be. Sherlock took one look and summed it up neatly enough, but Molly never assumed he might not be the only one.
The morgue might be odd, but it suited her. Whatever else might be the case, Molly had an inquiring mind and, besides, in a way she liked sending others off to their rest. It was peaceful there and none of the corpses were ever reproachful.
Molly chewed her lip, anxiously, tapping one of her test tubes as she watched a cacaphony of bubbles rise towards the top. So absorbed was she, she hadn't instantly registered someone else's presence and, with a soft gasp, she started at the sound of his voice.
He had kind eyes she thought, oblivious to how ridiculous that thought truly was, all things considered. Unlike her, he'd also clearly put some thought into his grooming, which Molly respected, and he had a nice voice. Irish, she'd guess. And, in her opinion, was attractive. That was the full extent of Molly's skills of observation and deduction.
A tittering laugh was the next sound she made as Molly raised a hand to her lips. "Oh, God, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Umm, hi, Jim. It's nice to meet you. Are you new?" Quickly yanking her hand from her mouth she frowned at her own awkwardness before extending a hand to him. "I'm Molly. Molly Hooper. I work at the morgue...obviously." With a slightly deeper frown, she turned back towards the computer. "Oh! Yes. I think...I know nothing about computers, to be honest. It's not," she shook her head. "I don't know." Molly tried to laugh. "Err, take a look, shall we?"
ooc | Molly & Moriarty
So yes, we should RP when Molly was dating “Jim from IT” b/c yes. Molly and Moriarty on a date ftw
OMG YES. This is something I never realized I needed in my life until this moment???? Like can we just...THE AWKWARD IS UNREAL. Bc she'd be all ~giggle/inappropriate and like unwitting beard/unwitting accomplice to meeting Sherlock/idek. And just tittering OFFICE ROMANCE omg. This is the best! I feel like she'd be all, "I never thought I'd be pleased to have a malfunctioning computer..." *awk silence* "Yes, yes, I'd love to go out with you!" *tries not to think of Sherlock*
