          ☆ﾟ. * · 。ﾟ @ikxminjae / seeing the other really shouldn’t have been as awkward as it was. kyungjae, in all honestly, should’ve been able to hold conversation, handle small talk, or, at least, say hello. but instead, he found himself frozen, jaw tightened and hands balled into fists as the trainees stood by whilst the members of 360°Z entered the practice room. it was their monthly ( bimonthly? trimonthly? kyungjae wasn’t sure anymore. all he knew was that it happened a lot more than he wanted them to. ) sit-down with one of the senior artists in the company about the pros and cons of the life of a debuted idol. the others bowed generously, openly welcoming the group with warm greetings. kyungjae, on the other hand, found himself to be silent, staring past the members of the group to daydream about what could’ve been. about what it’d be like if he was in their shoes instead. ( about what it’d be like to not be a loser. )

truth be told, minjae didn't feel like he belonged there. not even a year had passed since 360°Z made their debut. it felt like it hadn't even been too long ago when he'd been sitting in that practice room, looking up at senior artists while they talked about idol life and promotions. to suddenly be on the other end, and to be talking to people that he had trained ( and for some, originally intended to debut ) with was... strange. of course, that didn't change the fact that he was happy to see them. galaxy was really pushing them right now to make sure that they got popular, so having time to meet up with the others had not been an easy task. he smiled --- tired, a bit awkward under the circumstances --- as the trainees greeted them. it wasn't hard to notice that kyungjae had remained still. minjae didn't mind it, but the other seemed to be lost in his own thoughts. since there was still a bit of time before the talk officially started, he approached the younger, his expression softening. "it's been a while, huh?"

“Ugh!” She whacked her own head and fiddled with her bag to get her phone in order to confirm the unfortunate circumstance. “I was supposed to meet a friend from 5 until 6…I’ll never make it in time.”

She looked at her phone and scowled. How could she have napped for over an hour? Well, that wasn’t too hard a question. Since Heaven was promoting none of them were getting enough sleep. Sora had almost no friends outside the company and with such a tight schedule on both ends, this hour was the only time it worked for them to hang out. It sucked she had to cancel it.

“I guess I’ll just have to text her to say I can’t make it. Can’t believe it. I never sleep like this. I can usually manage to push through.”

As he watched the other, Minjae couldn't help feeling somewhat concerned for her. As an idol that also happened to be promoting at the moment, he was exhausted --- but he was just a rookie. A group like Heaven, with much more experience and popularity ( and schedules ) was bound to be even more tired than he was. Why else would she have fallen asleep in the middle of the hallway like that? It was a shame, hearing that she'd have to cancel her plans with a friend. Free time was scarce, especially after debut, so finding time to spend time with loved ones was a rare occurrence.

"I'm sorry, sunbae..." He murmured softly. Hands clasping behind his back, the vocalist tilted his head. "You must be working really hard," he noted. "Are promotions tough right now?"

“ minjae-ah.” the older male couldn’t help but smile at the sight of the idol. it had been awhile since they spoke, and bongki had a soft spot for his fellow label mate. “ hey, what brings you to the studio ?” he questions, as he turned his focus away from his notebook and towards minjae.” you had some free time or are you just dropping by before you go and practice ?”

the rookie's face lit up in a mixture of relief and delight upon hearing the other's voice. he'd stepped into the studio uncertain of whether he was actually present or not. he could have waited if he wasn't ( it wouldn't be the first time ), but he was much happier knowing that the man he wanted to visit was already there. "sunbae!" he chirped, smiling wide. "i had a bit of free time and i figured i'd come visit. it feels like i haven't seen you in forever." lifting his arm, he revealed a small drink holder with two beverages inside. "i also brought you coffee. heard you've been in here for a while."

“have you been waiting long?” the girl skidded up to her friend, out of breath. “traffic was crazy, i had to park far away, then run almost three blocks, i’m so sorry.“ sunghwa rested her hands on her knees and sucked in air to attempt to breathe life into her constricting lungs. “o-once i catch my breath, we can go. i promise”

pushing himself away from the wall he'd been leaning against, the vocalist smiled reassuringly. "not at all, don't worry about it." truthfully he had been waiting for a bit, but his schedule was free for the rest of the day, so it wasn't like he had anywhere else to be. he didn't mind it. watching her, he bent down to look at her, somewhat concerned. "you didn't have to run, you know..." he murmured, a soft chuckle following. "take your time. it doesn't start for a bit longer, anyway."

“yeeeeaaaaah—” she lets out a rueful huff, adjusting her hoodie. she looks at her company, eyes pleading still, but then it dawns on her that she’s about to rob some money off a poor trainee. he hasn’t had his own salary, and she’s already about to demand something from him. the fact that he emphasizes on the word ‘hoobae’ ( or perhaps that’s just her subjective perspective that thinks so ) makes her fall into a dilemma. she looks at him in disbelief. “wait a second— i can’t rob the money off you! i don’t want to be a bad sunbae… oh well. let’s starve together… or if you have some money… we can eat together, but i promise i will treat you back next time we’re out!”

the moment he sees the look on her face he realizes that maybe the playful emphasis on his rookie status had been taken seriously. he can't help but laugh, waving his hands dismissively. "no no! i was just playing. i'd be more than happy to treat you, sunbae. if i didn't have the money i'd just say so." digging into his pocket, he pulls out his wallet to show her, using his free hand to tug his mask down to his chin and exposing a happy grin. "we can get whatever you want."

Jihyun looked out of the window. It was pouring outside. She felt like buckets filled with water came down. A pout appeared on the lips of the young singer. The weather didn’t allow her to go outside. Which was annoying. Jihyun was normally a very bubbly, hyper and happy girl but this weather was really pulling on her mood. It had been raining non-stop for the last few days and her manager had forbidden her to go outside and walk through the rain. Telling her she would probably get sick or slip and fall. So here she sat watching the rain, whiling holding a cup of tea tightly in her hands. She let out an annoyed groan looking at the other person in the room. “This weather is so annoying! Someone make it stop raining. I miss going outside without getting soaked.”

Unlike the other girl occupying the room, Minjae actually liked the rain. He found it pretty and soothing ( at its worst, it made him a bit sleepy if he was comfy enough ). He'd just been outside a few minutes ago, evident by his still wet hair and jacket, and yet he wasn't bothered in the slightest --- after all, he'd been the one to lend his umbrella out to a friend while still outside himself. He'd decided to stay inside and wait for the rain to die down. The idol took a seat in an empty chair, enjoying the faint sound of droplets hitting the building.

"Annoying?" He repeated, a hint of amusement to his voice. "I think it's pretty alright? I like it." Leaning forward in his seat, he flashed a warm smile the girl's way before shaking his head to rid his hair of a few more droplets of water. "I take it you're stuck here until it's done raining?"

“i cannot believe of all days i chose to not bring my wallet today,” she says, looking at her company with the most pleading face ever. it didn’t cross her that she would be hungry again after the huge lunch that she had prior to the practice — that she decided to not bring anything except herself and her cellphone. but after those gruelling hours spent in the practice room, she eventually feels the upcoming growl coming from her stomach, especially as they walk past the food stalls in hongdae. “buy me foooooooooood—”

"oh? yeah, leaving your wallet really sucks..." minjae comments, eyes aimlessly scanning over the various food stalls as they pass them by. he doesn't catch the pleading look on the girl's face, and doesn't realize that he's probably being asked for something until she literally states as much, and he comes to a stop as he finally looks in her direction. for a brief moment, he debates teasing her a bit. "but i'm just a rookie," he could say. "i barely have money to buy myself food!" --- but he doesn't. his smile is still evident despite the mask hiding his face ( his manager had insisted that he get into the habit of wearing it out in public, just in case, they'd said. ). "alright!" he declares, nodding firmly. "this hoobae will treat you! do you want anything from one of these stalls, sunbae?"

“Omo, I’d be offended if you said you regretted it.” She feigned hurt, but really she was only teasing. His words had actually made her quite happy. “Especially since I was trying my absolute hardest.” She continued, but was grinning his way half way through her words, unable to keep any sort of straight face.  Anyone who spent time with the Heaven member away from any flashing camera got to see her smile all the time. Something about a billion flashes of light made her freeze up. “A break?” She repeated, perking up at hearing the offer, “Yes please. I love breaks.” She giggled “Treat me…. I love the sound of that even more than I love breaks.” She said sitting up with the control of her abs.

"How could I regret it when you're doing so great?" He laughed. "I can tell. Hard work always brings good results." It was nice, seeing the other smile so much. He could totally understand the feeling of freezing up in front of cameras --- being a rookie and all, it was definitely something he wasn't quite used to yet. His smile widens at her reaction. He was starting to feel a little tired as well, so a break definitely sounded like a good idea. "Oh?" He raised a brow. "Well in that case I have to treat you! What're you in the mood for? I'll get whatever you want." He declared confidently. Sure, he wasn't exactly loaded, but he was always generous nonetheless; his family had never been especially wealthy and he knew how to stretch out his funds when need be. Treating a senior who had helped him out so much certainly wouldn't hurt him.

“Oh my god.” Elizabeth spoke in English as she sat up from her place on the couch. She was in a far west wing of the company building, a perfect quiet spot to unwind. Unfortunately, the Heaven unwound a little too much and had fallen asleep. She noticed only one person near her, 360′s Minjae, who was walking just a few feet away.

“Hey! Minjae!” She called out. “What time is it?”

Minjae didn't know how long the Heaven member had been asleep. He'd come to the Crystal Media building to visit with a friend for a bit, and after insisting that his friend continue their work instead of seeing him out, he'd inevitably gotten lost and found himself in the western wing of the building some way or another. A couple of young trainees had been ogling the sleeping idol's exposed legs, and so after shooing them away he'd made it a point to shrug off his jacket to drape over her legs --- both in case she either got cold or someone else decided to take a look. He paced about nearby, trying to figure out how to find his way out when someone suddenly called out to him, causing him to jump. Once he realized who it was, he wondered if he had accidentally woken her up.

"Eh? The time?" He glanced down at the watch on his wrist ( a debut gift from his father ) before looking back at her. "5:32. Why?"

&&. sigh, you have eyes on your face for something - eunji thinks to herself while shaking her head with a slightly smile on her face. it was nice of the poor idol to actually apologize to the actress, truth to be told, minjae would probably in eunji’s black list if a ‘’sorry’’ didn’t come out of his mouth. ‘’no.. i also didn’t see where i was going, don’t worry’’, the actress reasures the boy while patting his shoulder softly. ‘’i’m.. okay, it could have been worse’’ - a giggle escapes her mouth, though fake, it seems more real than it is. ‘’how about you though? are you okay? you’re not hurt right? where were you going with such hurry?’’, actually..what was his name again? well is not as if she took her time to memorize names, anyways.

the pat to his shoulder serves as a signal for minjae to raise his head, which he does with a soft smile on his face --- his apologetic demeanor doesn't disappear, however. he hates inconveniencing people. "okay?" even though the other's giggling seems to hint that she may be joking, the idol is nothing if not a worrywart, but he refrains from prying further so as not to risk getting on her nerves ( at least, not anymore so than he already had, unknowingly ). "ah.. yeah, i'm-- fine. totally fine." he confirms with a nod of his head. it hadn't been a particularly rough collision, after all. his expression turns more sheepish at the woman's question. "oh, that's.. i left my phone here during practice, and i'm expecting an important phone call... and if our manager happens to call and i don't answer for some reason they might just kill me." he laughs softly.

“Not a new one, an old one. But I need to practice it since we’re doing a live performance of it for the first time in a while.” She was a little annoyed by his questions at first but quickly got over it. She kind of liked talking about her music. It was her greatest passion after all.

"Really? Which song is it? When are you performing?" Minjae couldn't help how enthusiastic he sounded; he was a fan, after all. Hearing that it's a song that Heart2Heart hasn't performed in a while made him very curious to know which song it'd be --- and being a fan, he was sure that whichever song it was, it'ss going to be a good one. It was only after he'd already spoken that he considered the fact that he could still be getting on the woman's nerves, the realization causing him to shrink back with an embarrassed smile. "I'm talking too much, aren't I?"
