Waving a waiter down she made the order for her friend, once he was gone though she made a face. The dreams had been becoming too common, but atleast she had a friend to talk about them with. Nodding to Ilana she looked her in the eyes. “The girl’s name is Jackie. Sometimes Jacqueline. That’s what I’ve figured out. She’s a red head, but crimson, not red like a Weasley. There’s quite a few interesting group of people she surrounds herself with. One dream even includes a mime,” she chuckled. “It has been happening for three weeks. Every Night. What about you?”
Ilana nodded slowly as Lucille talked. “I don’t... it changes. It’s often the same place... I don’t quite recognize it, but I think it’s some strange version of a hospital. And there’s always... some tragedy. Someone I care about is in danger, or I’m falling into water or out of the sky...” She didn’t mention that in a lot of them she seemed to be cutting people open. That was just... a little too extreme, but she thought she remembered one of the muggleborn students saying that was how their Healers helped people, sometimes. Maybe that had something to do with it, though she didn’t know for sure, and hadn’t quite figured out how to find out without her parents hearing that she was delving into muggle affairs.Â

“I know you’ll be completely devastated without me being at school to help you with everything. I really don’t know how you’re going to survive.” He laughed a little, and then he said: “I plan on attending any party that I can possibly attend, and I t would be nice if I could figure out what I wanted to do with my life. THere are really a lot of things that I need to get done”
“Oh, so devastated. I don’t think I’ll be able to go on,” she said, raising a hand to her heart dramatically. It was easier to play it for laughs than to admit that she honestly would be a little lost when everyone left. “And I’m not sure if I can help with the life plans, but you know I’m down for the parties. Though, you never know. Maybe everything will just... fall into place.” It wasn’t the smartest way to live life, but Ilana tended to seize opportunities as they presented themselves, and it had been working for her so far.Â
whathavewebecome:
“I definitely will love. I mean the team would basically be nothing without me.” He looked around, and then he ran his hand through his hair. “Okay, I probably would know if Hogwarts was shutting down, but there are still a lot of things that could have happened that I wouldn’t know about.” He chuckled slightly, and then he leaned against a nearby wall. “Year, it’s weird thinking that this is my last summer knowing where I’m going at  the end of it.”
“Right,” she said, her voice a little softer. She’d forgotten that this was his last year. “It’ll be strange being there without you.” A lot of the people she was close to were 7th years, and she hadn’t really processed what that meant. But she certainly didn’t intend to do that now. “I guess that means we’ll have to make the most of it,” she said, her smile back in force. “Do you have any big plans for once we’re back? Other than the Quidditch, of course.”
alice-inwcnderland:
“Someone’s getting bored of summer already, I see?” Alice raised a brow along with a teasing look. She was not particularly close with anyone other than a few of the Wotters clan since it has been clear that her father actually brought her over more often to hang out with the big family. But it does not hurt to have a few connections outside of the group and people are more than welcome to be her friend. “Summer’s been fine. I’ve spent the time in the greenhouse with my dad. How about yours? Though I can already predict your answer.”
“I was bored with summer about two weeks in,” she said with a shrug. Her father, she was starting to conclude, would act exactly the same whether she was there or not, and her mother only noticed her when she had something critical to say. “Eager to get back to school. Though that sounds… really nice. Spending time with your dad. If you like greenhouses, that is.” She’d always been rather ambivalent about politics, which was her father’s main hobby it seemed. He’d never really made that much of an effort to include her in it, so she’d decided it was easier to pretend the entire enterprise was dull. “What brought you out today?”
whathavewebecome:
Sam smiled, and then he said: “Yeah, summer vacation can suck sometimes. I mean school sucks sometimes too, but they suck in different ways. Have any interesting news. I haven’t really got out of the house much. Like they could have shut down Hogwarts, and I probably wouldn’t know.” He looked at her and nodded “Of course I do I mean it would be a disaster if we lost. I wouldn’t be able to show my face. Especially after all the crap, I talked last year.”
“Right. You have to lead us to victory and all,” she said with a teasing grin. “Though I have every faith that you’ll manage it.” She didn’t know that much about Quidditch—it never interested her that much unless it was one of her friends playing, but she tried to be supportive as much as she could. “And...” she shrugged. “Nothing interesting. Just trying to spend as much time out of the Manor as possible. Though I’m sure Father would have told me if they were shutting down Hogwarts. He mentions a lot of stuff from the Ministry but it’s mostly... well, really dull, to be honest.”Â

The young Malfoy was an early riser. There was no other way she felt she would have gotten everything she needed to get done in life if she hadn’t. quite honestly, if it wasn’t for her Malfoy name, as well as snark. Either way, the sooner she would be awake, the sooner she could finish everything and get back to bed. Though today she had a different mindset. Spending time with Ilana was always a highlight of any moment Lucille found herself in, so a giant smile appeared. “You’re more than fine. I had one hell of a night myself. Can I get you something to nom on?”
She nodded, sinking down into the chair across from her friend, curling into herself. She normally tried to keep good posture, but she let her guard down around the Malfoy heiress. “Coffee would be great to start, but I should probably eat something too. At least a piece of toast or two.” She sighed. “Thanks. Have you...” she hesitated, then decided that if she couldn’t talk to Lucille about this, she couldn’t talk to anyone. And maybe it would be better than feeling like she was going insane. “Those... dreams, people were mentioning? Have you heard anything more about them recently?”
genixsmclfoy:
Lucille cuddled her cup of coffee, the blonde woman clearly having her mind in a different place. Those dreams? They were all seeming so real. Stirring in some sugar she thought about the people in it and how peculiar they were. The woman in the dream was tall and built athletically, dark skinned with bright red hair. Black markings on her face, and piercing green eyes. Said woman pacing about A living room, Lucille and the woman having a conversation on how to dispose of some monks. All the while, another woman with pale skin and red hair that matched her eyes did dancing barre exercises. The women speaking of names Lucille had never heard of before.
So focused on her coffee she basically sprang when sending someone near her. Raising her hands in self defense she turned to the other, taking a deep breath of relief. “Holy Hades you scared me. Don’t sneak up on me like that!”
Part of her was regretting having agreed to meet so early. It had seemed like the best idea at the time, because it would give them all day to do whatever they wanted, but now she felt the weight of her exhaustion pressing down on her. She felt like she’d barely slept at all. She’d woken herself up, screaming for someone she’d never seen before in her life, then fallen back asleep just before dawn only to have yet another dream, this one of tumbling into a body of water, struggling against the weight of her clothes, waking up gasping for air.Â
Still, seeing her one of her best friends was a balm to all that. She shoved it out of her mind as she approached her. “Hey, woah. It’s just me. I didn’t realize I was being that quiet...” she shook her head, tossing her hair behind her shoulders. “Sorry I’m a little late. Rough morning.”

Shopping alone was not exactly something Dominique enjoyed, but having disagreed with her cousins on which shops to visit, she had ended up doing just that. Running into a familiar face was admittedly nice, but at the same time she just wasn’t sure about Ilana Rosier. She had never given Dominique any reason to dislike her, but the last name gave her pause, as much as she hated to admit to her own prejudice. She decided to view this as the perfect opportunity to get to know the Slytherin better, and was warm and friendly in response. “I am! Where are you headed? My family has abandoned me so I’m on my own at the moment.”
“They have? I always figured you lot would be tighter than anyone.” Truth be told she’d always had a touch of envy towards that. The extended Weasley clan seemed to be so close, and she’d never really had too much of that—or at least, not in the same way. She didn’t have any siblings or cousins, though she had some distant relations. But that didn’t seem to be a guarantee of friendship. She was sure she’d have been close with Lucille regardless of whether the Rosier and Malfoy houses had any shared blood. “And I’m not really headed anywhere in particular. Just wandering. Trying to find something to pass the time,” she said with an absent grin.
alice-inwcnderland:
for the summer, alice has spent most of her time in her family greenhouse and helping her father prepare seeds, soil and fertilizers for his herbology lessons when school starts. even though she does not have a thing for herbology like her father, she still enjoyed spending time with him alone in the greenhouse while listening to his stories about hogwarts though they were repeated for more than ten times on several occasions. it was the day off for alice. her father had to visit his old friends aka the weasleys and the potters. feeling bored, she decided to visit diagon alley and maybe get a few sweets to fill up her handbag. as she exited sugarplum’s sweets shop, a voice caught her attention, only to see that it was ilana. “hey! out here shopping?”
Most of the people she’d seen so far on her trip had been gaggles of first years and their families, excitedly waving the supply lists that had recently arrived from Hogwarts. She grinned at her fellow sixth-year—even if she wasn’t as close to Alice Longbottom as she might have been if they’d been in the same house or ran in more similar circles, any company was welcome company. “That was the idea. Though mostly i just wanted to get out. Counting down the days until we’re back at school, though. How’s your summer been going?”
whathavewebecome:
Sam walked around Diagon Alley with his new broom in hand, and he saw Ilana and smiled slightly when she spoke to him. “I knew that you would miss me.” He smirked at her and said “How’s my favorite Slytherin… I mean other than myself of course cause I’d have you beat there.” He looked around, and he ran his hand through his hair. “I just picked up a new broom ole Danny boy has already picked up all my other stuff, but a broom is something that I really need to get the feel of when I buy it. I  mean don’t want to risk getting a bad one.”
Ilana grinned up at him. “Better now that I’m out. I swear the manor was starting to feel more and more like a cage. There’s only so long I can take being isolated like that…” she smirked. “After all, where’s the fun?” She never bothered to hide how much being home bothered her, but she was always quick to bend it towards being bored rather than admitting it went beyond such shallow problems. “A new broom?” she quirked an eyebrow. “Figures you’d need an upgrade. We need our captain to be the fastest on the field, no?”
Come on, we’re dancing it out!
Ilana had never been the biggest fan of summer. It was long, and hot, and frankly far too dull. She could only take her mother’s thinly veiled criticisms for too long before she had to get out of the manor. Luckily, shopping was always an acceptable excuse. Diagon Alley was certainly a sight better than sitting at home, trying to figure out why she was dreaming of a place that didn’t even look real where she said things that didn’t even make sense. She turned the corner, spotting the other as they came out of one of the smaller shops. “Oh lovely! You’re here, too,” she said with a grin. Things were always more interesting with other people around, and hopefully this trip wouldn’t disappoint.Â
Hey all! If anyone wants to plot anything out please feel free to shoot me a message! I'm hella excited to rp with y'all. đź’•
