I am afraid to spend a lifetime waiting for you...

I am afraid of spending a lifetime waiting for you, in a world where you will spend a lifetime forgetting me with ease

there's an old french love song that says "Si un jour, la vie t'arrache à moi, si tu meurs, que tu sois loin de moi, peu m'importe, si tu m'aimes, car moi je mourrais aussi" wich means "If one day life tears you away from me, if you die, and we're separated, if you love me then I don't care, because I would die with you" and I don't wanna make anyone cry but this is clearly Achilles and Patroclus
