You can never be me and I never want to be you

The value of emotions is often measured by social standing, which, in turn, is dictated by material wealth. As for me, my own self-worth was a mystery—both to myself and consequently, to everyone around me.

By convincing myself I was worthless, I became the only person to truly suffer the consequences. And by the time I realized my mistake, everyone was already treating me through the lens of that initial, broken self-image.

I tried to force a new, unexpected sense of value upon myself and others. But when change is that sudden and unpredictable, it feels unstable—unreliable.

In the end, I lost my sense of total self-worth, and everyone was left with the impression that I was someone whose character is neither grounded nor consistent
