I walk around at night and I shine my flash light directly into her eyes and I'll just be standing there staring at her weird blue orbs for like 5 seconds until I realize it's probably extremely annoying to her, because she has eyes!! Donald Trump gave a particularly incoherent speech during a recent rally, as he rattled through a lengthy list of odd grievances that didn’t quite ring true, devoid of some very necessary segues. In front of a crowd of about 700 people (although Trump claimed it was 45,000) in Doral, Florida, on Tuesday, the former president hit all of the normal beats of his campaign trail speeches, and then some. Trump attacked President Joe Biden for his weak performance in the presidential debate last month, and for many of his policies. He dropped Kamala Harris’s name more than a few times, arguing that it doesn’t matter who the Democrats’ candidate is, he will beat anyone in a “thundering landslide.” Over sweeping music, Trump went for a tear-jerking moment, only to suddenly veer into complaining about something else. It’s included in full because it’s just that wild. “We will institute the powerful death penalty for drug dealers, where each dealer is responsible for the death, during their lives, of 500 people or more,” he said. “Mothers will never again be forced to watch their children overdosing in hosp … and we will never allow mothers to watch their child hopelessly dying in their arms screaming, ‘What can I do, what can I do? Help me God, what can I do?’ We are a nation whose once revered airports are a dirty, crowded mess,” Trump continued, pivoting suddenly. “You sit and wait for hours and then are notified that the plane won’t leave, that they have no idea when they will. When protesters marched in Washington after the killing of George Floyd, Donald Trump asked General Milley why the troops couldn’t just shoot them, suggesting maybe just “in the leg.”
Milley replied that he could not, because that would be illegal.
The Supreme Court has now ruled that it no longer will be, at least certainly not for the President to order it. And he can pardon the general that carries it out, and fire the ones that refuse.
If that doesn’t scare you, then I guess you can keep talking about stupid things like taking Biden off the ballot. If it does, then maybe focus on making sure it doesn’t happen, pressuring for Supreme Court reform, and saving this fucking country.

At one point Biden misspoke and said “Vice President Trump” instead of “Vice President Harris” when answering a question, but to be fair he was probably expecting a relevant question about his opponent and not literally 6 questions in a row about whether or not he’s Dead Yet
Can’t believe I went back on political Twitter for this, but I needed some sane takes after weeks of nonsense.
Biden has a stutter. Sometimes he mixes up names, replaces words, or pauses for a minute. But it’s not forgetfulness - it’s literally misspeaking. It’s not great. But it has nothing to do with his ability to govern.
This press conference showed a clear and in-depth understanding of the job he is doing, particularly in relation to NATO and foreign policy. The media is too cowardly to bother asking Trump the same questions, but I think we all know his responses wouldn’t be nearly as coherent. This whole conversation has been overblown. There’s only one candidate in this race who can do the job, and it’s the one who is already doing it.
I'm honestly appalled that we got some of our first concrete news on a deal that both Israel and Hamas agreed to AND that stipulates Israel will not occupy Gaza after the war, and all everyone can talk about is "Vice President Trump".
The man has been to like 20 events in 8 states in two weeks and then had a baller NATO summit but somehow he's not fit to run or keep being president over one debate? Meanwhile trump was not seen for 10 whole days and crickets. The beltway pundits are deeply unserious people and also clearly keen on a second trump presidency.
