Hey! I'm Sammi Watson, i love animals, movies, tv series, reading, making stuff and pretty much any kind of hot beverage, except bovril. I have a thing for collecting things, at the mo it's badges and stickers. And i also have a weird fetish-like love for the smell of clean washing. I live with my boyfriend and my two cats by the seaside. I love miniatures and I'm currently doing the second year of a HND in Illustration! Feel free to comment on stuff, post and make fun suggestions for doodles! :D

As a little girl i would help my Aunt,

up in her sewing room, her little assistant.

Picking up pins and all sorts of wonders

claiming a stray button as part of my plunder.

Watching her make a wedding dress from scratch,

pinning the pieces on the mannequin, ready to attach.

Completely amazed by her skills,

the whole process...it gave me chills!

Drawers and boxes full of bric-a-brac

keeping the best things requires a knack.

Zips, buttons, different threads..

Greens, blues and hues of reds.

Older now...but still loving her room,

i have my own now, where i make a costume,

reminiscing in front of my machine, 

my new found sewing skills..quite unforseen!

Aunty Christine's always a call away, 

if i need anything, we'll meet in a cafe.

Over a sandwhich and a bowl of hot soup

she'll tell me how to sew a belt loop.

I'm alive!

I knew i hadn't posted anything on here for ages but i didn't realise it was over a month ago! Been ridiculously busy, got a job in a shoe shop and it's been the build up to/ has been the sale the past couple of weeks. And when i haven't been working i've been making Christmas presents which i obviously couldn't post in case anyone seen them! The page will be updated ASAP! Sorry for the wait!
