Life is Vivid

Oil and acrylic paintings, motives that marked my growing up and that have left an indelible mark on my art. The crystalline lakes of Zelengora – its wonderful “mountain eyes”, Volujak and Maglić – the two imposing, impressive mounts, the most beautiful sights that I have set my eyes on… Birches showered in sunlight, an old house and lilacs in full bloom in front of it, works in the honour of artists whom I revere and respect. Fascination of a summer Mediterranean child with seaside motives… Most of my paintings belong to private collections, while some of them occupy the walls of institutions such as the Government of the Republic of Srpska, Museum of Old Herzegovina in Foča, EUFOR Gallery in Brussels, Gallery of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Canada…

Samara, Russia

For me Samara was associated with the name of the car that a lot of Serbian families used to drive back in 1980s and 90s, but everything changed after I got an assignment to create these illustrations. #samara, formerly a closed city, was a strategic to wartime and space aspirations. Samara has an asteroid named after it and it's also known as one of the Russian aircraft engineering centres and it was one of the main builders of the Soviet Union's space program. This is confirmed by such landmark as the R-7 rocket, the legend of the #Soviet #astronautics. The building of #samararailwaystation is the highest railway station in Europe This city is also home to the iconic Soviet beer brand #zhigulevskoye #жигулевское

Nizhny Novgorod, Russia

Nizhny Novgorod is Russia's fifth-largest city. #unesco has included Nizhny in the list of 100 cities of the world which are of great historical and cultural value. Owing to its military history, Nizhny was closed to foreign tourists throughout the Soviet period. From here you can sail to #Moscow, #SaintPetersburg , #Perm and #Astrakhan

Did you guys know that Kazan is about 150 years older than Moscow. It is officially founded in 1005 and it is one of the oldest cities in Russia. It has over 30 universities and has a great nightlife. The name comes from the Turkish and Volga Tatar word Qazan and it means "kettle". It has an officially registered brand "The Third Capital of Russia"

Minimalist Japanese city

Tsuchiyu Onsen Is located in the western part of #Fukushima city. It was badly damaged by the great earthquake in 2011 and lost hope. Feather - courage, Sun - hope, growth and new life, #Azuma mountain, #Arakawa river, #Kokeshi doll, #Mizubasho flowers are symbols of this beautiful little town in Japan.
