One gif from every video that was made the first year of the Sanders Sides. I made them all today. This day of the anniversary of when Thomas said it was weird to talk to himself so much and then proceeded to make an entire series where all he does is talk to himself.

Morally grey or dark! Logan please? You’re amazing

Logan is not afraid to silence one of the sides should he need to say something when they interrupt him, the first time that it happened everyone had gone dreadfully still as Roman’s hand remained clamped over his mouth. Even Deceit looked awfully shocked at what Logan had done, as the logical side straightened his tie with a dead expression on his face and an almost disdainful look in his eyes. The other sides are a lot more careful to not interrupt him anymore, and to let him speak his mind when there’s a subject that he could be helpful with.

That being said, he knows that if given the opportunity they’d go right back to ignoring and silencing him if they were given the chance to. So he never gives them that chance. He snarls and sneers out his points, making himself loud and well…scary so that for the first time in forever he feels heard, not only by Thomas but the other sides as well.

He knows that they hate him now, but certain changes come with certain sacrifices, and this just happens to be a sacrifice he can handle. He didn’t need them anyway, besides, hanging out with Deceit has been more than enlightening. That and the other dark sides truly seem to appreciate what he brings to the table as Logic, with as much sway as he holds over Thomas he knows that they’ll listen.

Unlike the others.

And that’s really all that matters to him in the end, being listened to and…having a few open ears that truly seem to care about what he says. After all…the others had their chance.

And they blew it.

I feel like I’m not the only one enjoying the weight positivity that comes with the whole ‘chubby logan’ headcanon. It’s one that I’ve had for awhile and that I’ve done art before with. I also threw in some of my other favorite headcanons while I was at it.

The positivity sure makes me feel better about myself- and you know, the most logical thing for you to be, is yourself.

A/N: I feel like I should know your name… Im pullin a blank…

Warnings: Arguing, Angst, Logan angst, Yelling, No happy ending

Filming was a mess. Roman kept adding his creative twinge to the ideas and Logan had tried to balance him out. The two ended up yelling at each other. Patton has moved them to the imagination so Thomas didn’t end up with a headache. The arguing traits noticed, but didn’t bother to address it.

This argument had sent a bolt of fear through Logan. He and Roman had just started a relationship. They didn’t have a name for it, but he knew that he didn’t want it to end. Another thing that Logan knew was that these arguments never ended well.

“For once, Roman, can you please try to understand!” Logan pleaded, wanting the argument to end. “Not everyone can handle your over-the-top ideas! It is stressful and causes more anxiety for Virgil and more work for me! It causes more friction, which you know makes Patton upset…” Logan paused as Roman glared into him.

Roman scoffed. “Do you really think that matters, Logic?! Virgil will be anxious until there is positive feedback! You know perfectly well that nothing will change that. Maybe if you could learn to love my ideas, then there wouldn’t be friction!”

That hit harder than it should have. Logan hesitated between backing down and speaking up. “I… I thought you were aware of my…” Logan didn’t have the words. His difficulty to feel? His hatred toward feelings… toward love? “I though you were aware of my emotional… hardships.”

Roman scoffed. “Now is not the time to pretend you don’t have feelings, Logic! We need to continue and if that means we leave you behind, then so be it!” Roman turned around without processing any of what he said.

Logan could almost feel his heart shatter. He knew that his feelings were troublesome. But to hear the side he had learned to trust say that he would be left behind hurt more than anything else. Logan felt the tears start to run down his cheeks. The burning sensation was welcome. After so long of holding it in. After so long of hiding it, the dam just had to burst. Logan cried silently into his hands, not noticing Roman hadn’t left.

“That’s it? You’ve got nothing to say? Goodbye, Logic.”

A broken sob bubbled out of Logan’s throat. “I thought… I thought you cared…” Logan gasped as his breaths became shallow and painful.

At that moment, it all came rushing into the front of Roman’s mind. His words finally caught up to him. He turned around in time to see Logan fall to his knees and curl into himself as his frame shook.

“Oh. Oh, Lo. I’m so sorry…” Roman hesitated knowing that nothing could take back what he had just said. “Logan… Lo. Can you hear me?”

The logical side made no signal that he could hear the fanciful trait. All Logan could hear was a sharp ringing and the uneven beating of his heart. He felt as he collapsed onto his side. He was still hugging himself as he remained slightly aware of the frantic voice calling his name and the warm touched along his shoulder and cheeks.

Logan let the warm black overtake his mind. He decided anything would be better than his Prince yelling at him.

But like heck is he gonna ask for that stuff

He doesn’t wanna burden them

Sure there’s Logan but

They don’t??? Exactly?? Always??? Work well together??? When Virgil is having a Bad Day ™????

He’s sorry he doesn’t mean to be so annoying and inconvenient and argumentative it’s just Logan keeps pointing out Logic stuff that he’s not ready to deal with today because he Feels Bad ™ and just wants hugs and hot chocolate and comfort

So then they usually argue with Logan being all “you’re not stupid?? Thomas isn’t stupid!!!! How could you be stupid when you’re part of him????”

and Virgil being all “I DON’T KNOW MAN BECAUSE I’M TOO STUPID TO KNOW THAT EVEN AND I’M SORRY OK”

And “there’s no need to be sorry, you’re experiencing cognitive distortions because of heightened anxiety”

And “STOP TRYING TO PSYCHOANALYSIS ME”

And “STOP IGNORING ME VIRGIL”

And so on and so forth

And it’s usually a bad time for all involved

So yeah

Virgil avoids Logan when he has a Bad Day ™

He just kinda, waits till Patton and Roman are free and then subtly let’s them know he’s doing not good then that he’s doing bad and finally they realise it’s a Bad Day ™ and comfort him and make hot chocolate

But today

Today

When Virgil is having a Bad Day ™

he feels

OK he’s not sure and he could be wrong and look stupid and be stupid and-

Someone else is having a bad day

Maybe even a Bad Day ™

And hes like?????????????

Before realising

It’s Logan

Logan has Bad Days ™

So he gets outta bed and sneaks down the hall and yup, those Bad Day ™ vibes are from Logan’s room.

So now he’s panicked and doesn’t know what to do but knows he wants to comfort his friend but also doesn’t know how?????

Idea

Hot chocolate

HERE WE ONLY GOT ONE RULE (here we only got one rule) NEVER EVER LET IT COOL (never ever let it cool) KEEP IT COOKING IN THE POT. THEN YOU GOT

HOT CHOCOLATE

So ok he can do that

Not as well as Roman but still

So he goes downstairs, makes only a small mess, and comes back upstairs with two hot chocolates on a tray

And oh gosh does Logan even like hot chocolate does he even like hot does he even like chocolate does he want company what if he hates Virgil what if-

OK so he just put one cup on the ground, knocked on Logan’s door, and fled for his room

He spilled his own hot chocolate a bit but whatever

And?? He kinda feels…. Not as bad???

He hears Logan’s door open, then a pause, then it closes

Then the Bad Day ™ vibes from Logan’s room Lessen

Then Virgil feels better for helping someone

And he smiles as he drinks his own hot chocolate,

And tbh, it’s not bad???

And when he’s taking his cup to the kitchen, Logan’s is outside his door, completely empty

So he takes that too, and cleans both

And he still feels bad but not as Bad

And he feels maybe OK for the common room

And the tv

And a little while passes and Logan comes downstairs

Nothing is said at first

Virgil switches from a documentary about the sea he’d been half watching, and puts on Queer Eye

Logan sits on the couch, Virgil remains on the table

Then a few episodes in he feels hungry. He turns to Logan to find the other had disappeared

And then reappears from the kitchen with snacks

They both sit on the couch now, occasionally passing comment about Queer Eye, and what the Fab Five are up to

“Roman is Tan” “Roman is Jonathan??” “Roman is somehow all of them???” “Gay magic” “Gay magic”

And it’s not a Bad Day ™ anymore???

It’s ok???

They both feel OK!!!

Must be gay magic

They end up half cuddling, and fall asleep on the couch

And they wake up the next day and???

It’s a Good Day ™

Definitely Gay magic

My math prof chucks candy at students who answer questions, and all I can think is that that’s exactly what Teacher!Logan does.

Logan, a high school teacher, got the idea from venting to his non-teacher roommates (aka Roman and Patton) about how he struggles to engage his students.

Roman muses, “If someone had given me candy for knowing what was going on, I definitely would have tried harder in math.”

Logan’s non-toxic modeling compound slips out of his hands and he lights up with his ‘idea’ face.

Patton knows what that face means. “Positive reinforcement will be so good for the kiddos!

Logan considers the logistics of the idea. “But the lecture hall is too big. It would disrupt the flow of the lesson to hand candy to every student that answered a question.

Roman shrugs. “So chuck it.”

Thus a new era of learning was born.

Other things about this hc (if you care to peruse the fruits of my procrastination) under the cut because it got waaay too long.

Other things about his hc:

Logan has a stash of alternative treats for people with allergies etc. They can trade with him after class.

There’s one student, Virgil, whom he’s gotten to open up because the Candy of the Day was Virgil’s favorite sometimes, which motivated him to participate. Now Logan has a supply Rolo’s specifically for Virgil

Logan couldn’t figure out why Virgil participate in class sometimes and not other times.

It took two weeks of trial and error to figure out the Rolo’s

The reason Logan was venting to Roman and Patton on that fateful day is because he’d been stressed out at work thanks to a rivalry with another teacher(three guesses who this teacher is).

Once Logan’s class is more beneficial for his students, Logan’s stress levels go down and his rival’s taunts don’t get under his skin so much.

Logan tells himself he enjoys this new candy technique because it hearkens back to Pavlov’s dog and is very scientifically sound

but actually, it’s because of the smiles on his students’ faces. And how they’ll talk over each other in an attempt to say the answer first, which sparks discussions when they disagree and sometimes Logan doesn’t even have to step in - the students will figure it out themselves.

And he makes sure that not every question is hogged by the outgoing students. He’ll specify about fifty percent of the time that he wants a raised hand. And sometimes he’ll randomly call on students too, but only on students he knows are comfortable with it.

Now his students are raising their hands not only when they have answers, but when they have questions. Usually, about how to relate in-class concepts to the real world.

One of those questions was about the probability of an AI choosing None Pizza with Left Beef from a whole menu of options, and it took up an entire period.

It threw off Logan’s lesson plan, but somehow he can’t bring himself to mind.

Virgil asked that question.

Logan splits the class into Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin and keeps track of which house earns the most candy. The prize at the end of the semester will be Crofter’s (unless a student has an allergy or something).

This inspires a friendly rivalry and even more participation than before.

The students all think that only one house will win the Crofter’s, but Logan is secretly planning on giving everyone a jar. The winners will get two jars.

the reason he has so much jam to give away is because Roman won a sweepstake a couple years ago. They have way too much jelly.

So in the Thomas Sanders fandom, people have been making their own sides, so after a time I actually made some, I’m slowing working on drawing them digitally…SOO there’s my happiness side, Joy. (I know, haha! Lol)
