So today I went for my first run with 'minimalist' running shoes on. A whopping 3km run of feeling every single bump and pebble in the terrain. Ankles a little sore. Verdict, I'm a fan!

In this episode I look at memory. Offer a pretty interesting (and successful) strategy to help remember stuff and also one app/program I use to help transfer things to long term memory. Sorry for the long running time but it's allll (mostly) good! Enjoy!

A brief update on what I’m up to regarding making YouTube videos.

I could tell you every flaw of yours before you told me your name. And as for my own, I’m well aware of them all the same. But it’s counterproductive to merely notice. Without the slightest intentions to address mere descriptions. For that is just what they are. Meaningless judgements for an imaginary jury. To find us guilty of being human.

Sometimes I feel thankful I don't have an anchor, it allows me to rise up as far as I can will myself. But sometimes it feels like it would be better to have somewhere to return to.
Life: The Enemy
In this episode I talk about Self-Talk, positive reinforcement inside your own head and the fear of failure preventing you from trying. Spoiler alert 'The Enemy' is ourselves, OH SNAP! Enjoy!

So here's todays video from my #Life series. It's about trying to wake up early and a little tip for how to do so.
On Monday I went along to the Enter Shikari gig at Portsmouth Pyramids, with Feed the Rhino, Allusondrugs and Fatherson support. I posted a review along with my photos at Fret-buzz, to view the full article please follow this link: http://fret-buzz.net/review/enter-shikari-16022015-portsmouth-pyramids-w-feed-the-rhino-allusondrugs-fatherson/ Here’s a few of the images:
I took this shot a couple of weeks ago for my Kanji project, it wasn't quite right for that but I still really love it. Taken at Sandown Pier, Isle of Wight.
Next project is well underway. www.facebook.com/PaperRobotProductions
So this is my first attempt at orchestral film music.
I imagine it as an action film, possibly set in a desert-like setting, but not essential. Influenced by and blatantly ripped off of the Bourne Identity soundtrack, but you've got to start somewhere.
Gas Mask Man - over 100 views :D #PaperRobotProductions
So after taking 2 days in London to shoot this short film idea we've had for 5 years. A month of (on and off) editing with some program issues determined to destroy my motivation. My first short film is finished.
I enjoy it, and the target audience for the film was in fact me and the other people who helped to make it - if other people like it that's great! A bonus!
But it made me realise that I really enjoyed doing it, and I feel like I can only improve my skills in the future and keep making more video as and when I can - as well as my various other creative projects.
Anyway, in this film me and my friend co-wrote the whole film, created all the music included in the film, organised the whole thing and then I edited it. Considering this was a two man venture with other duties being filled in for by our friends the actors, I'd call it a success. I hope this finds some one, and they really 'get it' and we can gain a fan who is in to the same stuff we are.
