I think it’s really interesting that in RWBY everything about Tyrian revolves around Salem. His weapons are called the queens servant he doesn’t have his own emblem like all the other villains and literally has no identity outside of her. Yeah we know he escaped from prison but like other than that his whole personality is for Salem. I think it’s just a really cool character detail how he has no identity outside of her the only thing that’s unique is his semblance which was given to him at birth lol.
