I know we like to say that Arcane could’ve been fixed if only Jayvik confessed their love and kissed somewhere in season 1, but consider this —Jayvik confessing and making canon so much worse.

These two are freak4freak. They are obsessed with each other. Do you really think that Jayce wouldn’t have done much worse than he already does in canon for a slight against Viktor? He literally expulses Heimerdinger out of the council because he tried to deny them the tool to save Viktor’s life.
