I've been playing these games on repeat lately and I missed them on my trip so I drew them. Here are a few that I started, not sure when I'll finish these but it's been fun drawing again.
More in "conversations I missed in Raborsh in my first playthrough":
I love Sam so much. He is incredibly rightfully angry and whenever he is angry and says stuff like the following that show his anger, as he does when you speak to him and Liechtenstein:
He reminds me so much of Henry. Sam has that same piss and vinegar that got Henry up and running after Skalitz burned. The same anger and desire to see justice served.
And he mocks the nobility in much the same way Henry does. Of course, it is different, as jews interacted with the general noble hierarchy differently, but still. They both mock the "worthy gentlemen" and how the nobility view themselves.
Sam is also 100% right, being a jew in Europe in the Middle Ages sucked kinda everywhere, there were times and places it was better or worse, but it really dependent on who was king at the moment and the state of the place at the time, as Sam says a little later in the same conversation:
Because that is kinda it. When things were shitty, a lot of times, the local Jewish community got hit regardless of whether they were involved or not (usually they weren't, it didn't matter). A pattern that continues to this day really.
i keep seeing this post and every time it made me think of henry of skalitz
