Nanami is like the only sane character in Utena and simultaneously completely off her rocker. She’s the only person to ask what the hell is going on with the student council but she was fully convinced she laid an egg for a week.

honestly the idea that nanami possibly has heard all the rumors that juri is a scary lesbian and doesnt necessarily discount them too and if you go by the side game is a little judgmental of that too is a really interesting potential aspect of her relationship with juri to me. she’ll still hang out with juri. she respects juri enough not to vocally antagonize her for being ‘weird’, or else in some other way doesn’t see her as a target the way she’ll see her peers utena or anthy. but nanami is a girl who lays eggs. and then the time nanami ran away because she wanted to be anywhere but home, and juri was like she asked to sleep over at my house the other day. and she stays with utena and anthy too. o fellow alien from outer space and freak of nature calf.
