Finn x reader(Gilmore Girls)
Warnings: drinking, spoilers for A Year In The Life and I guess Gilmore Girls in general
Authorās Notes: Dude I donāt know why or when I wrote this, it has weird perspectives and everything and with a less than minor character but I donāt know I liked it.
Summary: Rory and the reader go through Finn and the readers love story while the events of her and Logan dancing the night away.

Rory smiled as she stood in front of Y/N. They was happily watching Colin empty his pockets for a salsa dancer. Logan was speaking with Robert his voice drained by music. Both boys had erotic drinks in hand as they leaned against the seats. Ā Finn was getting a drink, speaking with the barista lightly and unbelievably not flirting with anyone.
Ā Ā Ā "Oh I saw Finn was engaged?!ā Rory must have followed Y/Nās gaze to see Finn ordering a drink.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Yeah I head that! How crazy.ā The ring on his finger was blinding at this second and Y/N messed with her own. Rory smiled.
Ā Ā Ā Ā "I cannot believe someone decided to tie him down. Who is she?ā Roryās gaze and tone was elsewhere. She was asking the question and thinking about the answer counting off all the girls Finn had slept with in the past.
Ā Ā Ā "Me.ā Y/N smiler fondly and Finn caught her eye walking over.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Y/N thought about the first time Rory had come to one of the life and death brigades things.
Ā Ā Ā Ā The games had begun and she was watching from afar the shots being thrown at living targets, her dress tight and constricting but adorable.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Iām bored I wanna be a target.ā Finn exclaimed.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Again?ā Logan asked and watched Finn walk off.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "In omnia paratus" Ā He stated jogging over to join his fellow targets. Y/N had taken her eyes away from him for a second. Just a second. She had lost him in the crowd and noticed Logan and Rory conversing.

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "I missed the mat.ā She turned around her dress twirling lightly. Finn was on a stretcher two boys carrying him away. Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Logan did you let him-ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Come here darling I need your help! In omniaā¦in omniaā¦ā She sighed and followed the stretcher.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Iāll kill you later Huntzberger.ā
Roryās face was priceless. It was absolutely priceless. She had seen some crazy things in the past. Heck she had done some crazy things. Butā¦wow.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Rory remembered the night out during that Quentin Tarantino party for Finns birthday. Rory had dressed as Gogo because she had the skirt. Finn was dressed like Vincent Vega and Y/N had dressed as Mia Wallace both from the movie Pulp Fiction. Ā Finn had flirted with every girl there including Rory herself. It was a drama filled night but she remembered she had fought with Logan and went home early. But she had stopped to watch Finn and Y/N dance together there bodies moving in a linked rhythm. Rory left then, the friction making her uncomfortable.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Hello my darlings! Howās your night been so far dear Rory.ā Finnās arm was wrapped around Y/N instinctively. His blue eyes looked into Roryās brown ones and Y/N leaned into him. To Rory the picture was almost comical. The most and least sexual active people she knew were engaged. She laughed.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Wow.ā Finn cocked an eyebrow.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Sorry?ā Rory shook her head.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Looking at Finn now, Rory seemed to recall the night she had gotten arrested. When she walked out of the jail cell she could already tell Lorelai was furious with her although she had a good way of showing it. Both Colin and Finn had been there sitting down beside Y/N. Rory then recalled how the night had gone and how it seemed Finn was glued to Y/N throughout the small time Rory had been present. Y/N messed with his hair and Finn messed with her shirt string and neither seemed to notice the other was doing anything.
Ā Ā Ā Rory was smiling now remembering how in love they had been letting the moments fall into her again. All the things she had missed.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā The time Logan had gone to the hospital.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Gave him 9.7 had to reduce him for all the screaming and blood.ā Rory looks so distressed and Y/N grabbed Finns arms. Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "But weāre adopting him. But we must be married first. Or I could just marry dear Y/N thatād be easier.ā Finn finished and as Y/N blushed she shook her head.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Not the time boys.ā Y/N had whispered but was barely heard when Rory started to blow up which had been reasonable and told the boys to just. Get. Out.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Finn come on. Let her passā Rory remembered that clearly and felt bad for it now but remembered how Y/N had dragged both boys out of sight so she could get through.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā And then Rory understood. She knew how much they had fallen for each other. Over the years Rory was so oblivious-
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Rory?ā Y/Nās voice broke her thoughts.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Congratulations you guys. I always knew you were meant for one another.ā Finn brought a hand to his chest dramatically.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Oh Rory darling that means so much to my wounded heart.ā He looked over at Y/N and she rolled her eyes.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "I told you I loved you when I was 16 years old but you never listened. Itās as much youāre fault then mine.ā She laughed and tore herself away from her fiancĆ©. He reached for her lustingly and she squealed.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Thanks Rors Iāll see you later!!!ā Rory smiled and Logan walked up behind her.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "I know their unbelievably perfect ignore it it gives you high expectations.ā
Ā Ā Ā Later Finn, Robert, and Colin were wasted and Logan and Rory had gone to his room, Y/N sat on the couch a magazine in hand.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Iām almost married Colin!ā Her fiancĆ©es accent rang from the kitchen followed by a clash. She rolled her eyes getting up and sat the magazine down on the coffee table walking to the kitchen. Robert was eating a piece of pie on the counter wiliest Colin and Finn fought over the last piece. It lay on the counter between them and Y/N smiled walking up and taking the plate.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Thanks babes!ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā "Your marrying this one?!ā Robert explained with a angry expression.
Ā Ā Ā "I do not know why!ā Colin fell backwards dramatically. Y/N giggled and had another bite.
Ā Ā Ā Ā "Here hon.ā She gave Finn a bite and he ate it with a smile.
Ā Ā Ā Ā "Hereās why.ā He rested a hand on her cheek and kissed my slowly and passionately, as Y/N leaned into him blocking out the gagging of Colin and Robert.
Ā Ā Ā Ā "Get a room!ā One of them yelped. Finn broke the kiss with a smirk. "I think we might just do that.ā

Ā Ā Ā The next morning Y/N awoke alone, Finn nowhere to be seen. She raised my head to look around the room which her and Finn had barged into, not sure whose it was. She looked around for my clothes finding her dress on the floor the arm torn. She decided it was alright and slipped it on zipping up the back about half way until her wrist couldnāt turn much more. The door opened slowly and she turned alert to come face to face with my fiancĆ©.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Good morning darling. Need help with that?ā He gestured to the dress and Y/N smiled.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Yes please.ā Ā She turned back around and he zipped it up the rest of the way, then resting his head on her neck.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "We should go meet everyone outside.ā Y/N hummed and Finn nodded.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "We should.ā He stood straight and grabbed her fingers theyāre hands linked together perfectly. She lead them out the door and down the hall back to the living room where Colin, Robert, Logan and Rory were all already there. Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āMorning guys.ā She mused and noticed Colin laying across the couch a steak over his eye. Ā Ā They all mumbled a good morning and Y/N raised a eyebrow at Colin.

āAsk your boyfriend princess.ā I eyed Finn then and he shrugged.
āI remember drinking but the memory of the actual assault is gone.ā He explained shaking a bottle of some alcohol.
āFinn itās so early.ā
āIāll take one.ā Logan cut in and I turned to Rory her stance fidgety and I then understood why Logan wanted one. She was leaving.
āActually Iāll take one too darling.ā I sat beside Colin on the couch. He winced when I grabbed the piece of meat tenderly taking it off his face to examine it.
Ā Ā Ā āBye Rors.ā I told Rory a knowing smile on my tired face. She looked at me thanking me with her eyes. I stood Colin following me and he asked where Rory was going.
āWe had the whole morning planned though.ā Finn said handing Logan and I our drinks. She sighed.
āSheās gotta go honey.ā I told Finn without looking at him. He looked at me processing and nodded.
āAlright then. I will miss you our darling Rory.ā He said and Colin and Robert followed suit.
āSo will we.ā Robert nodded and Rory mumbled her goodbyes to the three a sad smile gracing her lips. Finally she turned to me.
āGoodbye Y/N.ā she added solemnly. I hugged her wiping a tear from my eye.
āYouāll come to the wedding?ā I asked and she nodded her smile brightening a bit.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Wouldnāt miss it.ā We parted and the boys and I walked out leaving Logan and Rory alone. Once we reached the kitchen I leaned against Finn silently. The silence held the air no one making a witty comment and Finn rubbed circles in my back.
"Iām gonna miss her.ā I admitted breaking the thick wall of tension.
āMe too.ā Everyone mumbled and we fell into a silence again.Ā
