It's hard getting able-bodied people to understand that it's almost....disappointing when test results come back normal.....like yes it is good news! But that also means that I'm back to square one and that we still don't have answers to why I feel this way and why I have the symptoms that I do....It finally made sense....am I happy that I don't have that diagnosis? I don't want to be dramatic but it's actually dangerous for young LGBT people to think their rights came from media representation lol. They didn't decriminalize homosexuality or crossdressing because of a handful of rich gay celebrities or famous drag queens being sufficiently Visible™️. I love having Frankie Stein as a nonbinary monster while still appearing fairly feminine. And no, it’s not because they’re canonically made up of several people of varying genders(that can be used as an argument against transphobes tho). It’s because we need more feminine enby representation.

Almost every character I’ve seen in media whose is enby is either masculine or androgynous. It’s very important to start showing the feminine side of the nonbinary spectrum to limit the number of people who feel as if they’re fake or wrong for wanting to appear feminine while identifying as nonbinary.

While in the past, Mattel didn’t do the whole representation thing well(as they didn’t really do it officially), I do feel like they’re trying their best to do so now. There could be a financial/social status goal behind this but I do believe that there are some people in the team who truly want the representation in their media.

This is a big step for the franchise and I truly hope that they continue down the path to positive representation for the LGBTQ+ community

Honestly being overworked makes people unobservant and passive and it literally kills people every day. People don’t seem to realize that an overworked nurse might not notice your sepsis symptoms and a tired truck driver might not notice your car when he’s merging into the lane. Failing to protect worker’s rights impacts nearly everyone

your bare minimum isn’t actually that bare or minimum. my dad once told me that there’s nothing in this world that’s easy and that’s true tbh. everything we do takes energy, time, and effort. even the little things. if you feel like you’re not doing enough please try to think about your circumstances and what’s currently available to you: chances are, there’s something that’s diverting or otherwise draining you. and to pull away from that and get something done regardless? well, i think that’s really admirable! please try to take pride in the things you do accomplish in a day, no matter how small or trifling you perceive them to be. you can’t be proud of your growth if you don’t notice where you already are!
