Kind and sweet, though somewhat naive, Blu is a bookish macaw from Minnesota who's lived his entire life on the ground.

Having been adopted by humans, Blu, always stuck out and never quite fit in, due to his inability to fly and his distinct human upbringing.

Upon returning to his home in Rio, he finds himself thrusted into a journey with other shifters like him, and so, yearns to be accepted, willing to forgo what he knows to find somewhere he truly belongs.

Cold yet with a short temper, Jewel is the chief's daughter to Ara-Amana, a distant, now fallen tribe.

When she met Blu, it was to talk over their shared heritage, but now they've been roped into a journey through the city of Rio.

Now forced to interact with people from different walks of life, she'll have to question if it is truly worth it to hold onto old values, at the expense of other people's pain.

Little is known about this vagabond peregrine, and he intends to keep it that way. He wanders alone and doesn't care about anything or anyone. Of course, that's just from word of mouth, perhaps there's more to him than meets the eye?
