I feel like I've been getting weaker and weaker with back squats. Every time I do 5 reps I have to go down 5lbs my previous weight, and even then I feel like on that fifth one I can't do it. Been focusing on form lately so could be now that I'm using the right muscles I'm really feeling it. I'm still going up in other lifts, so shouldn't be protein related. Carb cycling and having high and low calorie days might be working, dropped back down to 161.8lbs this week, was floating around 163 last week. Whenever I get to 161 I go back up a bit, it's an annoying cycle. Hoping I can just keep losing a bit more to see 159. Crossfit Backsquat 5 reps @ 35lbs, 55lbs, 75lbs, 105lbs, 105lbs, 105lbs, 105lbs WoD 3 Rounds - Finished 10:01 min -5 Wall Walks (not very good at these) -10 Strict Push Ups -15 Wall Balls Calories - 1325 Fat - 79 (50%) Carbs - 83 (23%) Protein - 99 (27%)
I guess the sprinting and walking during the polar vortex caught up with me because now I'm sick. Have a swollen throat and my nose is runny, so been getting plenty of sleep. I have been cutting now calories this week and carbs, going to try carb cycling to get off the plateau. Had a great WoD today. Second week into my Whole Life Challenge and I feel like now that I'm restricted with eating, I want to eat everything. Chocolate… Taco Bell… a brick of cheddar cheese. My parents brought home McDonalds tonight and even though I hate it I wanted to eat the whole bag. Had some plantain chips and nuts to try and calm myself. This post should've been made on Saturday, the start of the whole life challenge but I forgot my score and measurements sheet at the gym. Ok, so time for my third WLC! Starting weight is 164lbs, waist is 34.5in, hips are 44.5in. Hoping to get down to 155lbs by the end. I'm increasing my carb intake for the first few weeks with some sweet potato and banana to see if that can push me off my plateau. Score: 175 Workout was run 800 meters (5:30min) and I got up to 75 squats, 50 sit ups, 20 knee push ups. Calories: 1620 Total Fat 99g / Protein 106g / Carbs 65g
