So I was thinking about ship archetypes and which fit sixerine, when I thought of the warm vs cold body heat thing.

Naturally my first instinct was tangerine runs hot (he’s hotheaded after all) and Court runs cold (since he acts colder and more composed).

But then I thought about it more and I think the opposite actually fits better.

Court is such a protective figure and warmth is associated a lot with safety and love, which he definitely represents. Meanwhile Tangerine is a lot less of a warm person lol even with Lemon he’ll yell at and threaten him

I also love the idea of usual tough and hard Tangerine cuddling up to Court for warmth or using him as a hand warmer

Been locked in writing for sixerine over 3k words written yesterday alone 💪

So for an extra hc I seem to have unconsciously written Tangerine to have abandonment issues that have translated into an avoidant attachment style, which you know what considering the backstory I’ve given him actually makes sense.

Unfortunately I have also written Courtland to have avoidant attachment considering you know everything so this relationship is gonna be messy as hell.

11k words so far, most of it smut

Another crossover duo that just came to mind: Eva Stratt and Mon Mothma

Whether in the PHM universe with Mon as a supportive politician for the project or the Star Wars universe where Stratt is a rebellion leader (because she would be, akin to Luthen with the any means necessary).

They both are fighting for a better future for the world, to save lives, and help others. They both have dedicated their lives to their work, in ways that may be detrimental to their personal lives, but they’re willing to do it because the cause is so much bigger than them.

Both studied History too—Stratt at undergraduate and Mon when she was 15 and wanted to be a historian (mentioned in the Rogue One Novelisation)—in a way that clearly informs their world views.

And I love both of them so very much.

Imagining Tangerine and Tom Ryder being twins is so funny to me, because imagine being killed by a look-alike of your favourite movie star.

Also Tangerine finding out about Ryder’s murder plot and just being disappointed he got caught.

“I’m your twin, you’re supposed to help me!”

“Nah, Lemon’s my twin. You’re just some mug who shares my face.”

Even funnier in the same universe at Coltland Gentry because what are the odds two families have estranged assassin brothers?

Plus Starstruck & Sixerine and its just Colt just astounded by both his brothers falling for two different men with same face, like “He’s not even that handsome.”

Or it’s one sided Starstruck and requited Sixerine and Tangerine is just giving Tom the WORST dating advice because his strategy with Court was attempted murder and threats as flirting.

Just saw a Disco Elysium edit and my brain just started thinking about parallels with Holland March from the Nice Guys.

Two messed up alcoholic detectives who lost their wives and are in deep self-hatred and regret, who form a partnership with someone more straight-laced than them and keeping them on track (while they in a way derails them).

Icl after I first watched Bullet Train I just fully took it as fact that Tangerine and Lemon were foster brothers and then upon rewatch recently I realised I don’t think it’s actually canonically stated and I just imagined it 😭
