i watched avatar fire and ash recently and i was just stuck on lo’ak’s attempt scene. i kept thinking if it was different, and drew jake and lo’ak hugging right afterwards. i also made a fic about the whole scene which features the art, if anyone’s interested!

was VERY inspired by @packnpeanutbttr's shallow waters fic and made this while listening to where have you been by rihanna on repeat for a few hours...
i was thinking about the whole “player is the angel” theory, and it got me wondering how the townsfolk would react to finding out about kris being possessed by us. with all the religious imagery around it, they’d probably put kris on a pedestal for being the angel’s “prophet” or the “chosen one”, all while kris just wants to rid us from their body and go back to normalcy. and it’s not like they can tell anyone what we’re choosing to do to them (i.e. snow grave) so everyone would just be celebrating what kris knows is a fucked up power.
psychologically, that can’t be good for kris.
