so i got to the character i was looking forward to (you can try to guess who it was. not sure why you would though, it's not cool silverfish anon lore™ i just have the best character opinions and like getting people to guess things)
i was so confident.
i was absolutely sure i'd get the good ending first try considering my track record with previous characters.
there was no doubt in my mind. we would IMMEDIATELY be besties.
i procceeded to get both bad endings first. the universe will never let me win and i am destined to suffer eternally for the amusement of anyone who will listen

I FINISHED HOMESTUCK. AFTER A LITTLE OVER 2 MONTHS
2 months and 3 days to be exact. it could've probably been exactly 2 months or maybe less if i didn't wait a few times for the person who got me to read it to respond to what i had to say before continuing
along the way i realized that i was right all the times i thought that i should read homestuck but decided against it for the moment, because there would be a perfect time for it, and it just wasn't then
if i did it earlier i wouldn't have been able to speedrun it like that and would probably lose interest, and wouldn't have anyone to talk to about it
now there's no going back, and i only have a vague idea of what's next or what the fandom is like
also you may have noticed that i only do the >(thing>{- when talking about it, and at the start of this ask foreshadowing the fact that i'm talking about it now
