HELLLLO! Welcome to my Caine ask/roleplay blog! This follows the events after episode 8, where Caine is transported to some sort of purgatory. All there is in the empty void he's in is a recycling bin. But how can he access the internet? No idea! But talk to him to keep him company! Or don't. Make him go insane if you want!

I will try to keep myself in character, but forgive me if there are any slip ups or mischaracterization. I try my best!

Thank you so much for supporting this project, unfortunately it has come to a close. Everything will stay, the blog will not be deleted. In character posts will not longer be answered, but I will still post out of character. If you’re new and would like to see in character posts, please refer to the tag system below!

This blog is not associated with Glitch, Gooseworx, or the TADC team at all. This is run by a fan! Any and all posts you see here are not canon to TADC. There will be my own personal interpretations of Caine and the TADC story on this blog.

CHARACTER INFORMATION

Caine currently has no powers. If he tries to do anything as basic as flying, he'll glitch out as if there's something stopping him.

He'll usually talk to you through the screen even though he can't really see anyone.

Caine is unaware that he's been deleted. Well! Seems like that's changed.

If you're wondering why Caine isn't deleted yet, the trash bin is set to empty after 60 days. cough.

Caine will speak in RED AND OCCASIONALLY BLUE TEXT! Any actions and narration will be in italics.

BLOG RULES

Anyone is free to interact! I've realized that this is not entirely true. Here are some people I will not interact with: adults with minors dni, people roleplaying in reblogs/comments (nothing personal! this is more focused on asks than one on one roleplay. please scroll further down to see more info on why.)

To any adults with "minors DNI" in their bio, pinned, or anywhere else, your ask will be deleted and I will not interact with you. Don't go on anon just to avoid this. Mod is a minor, this for my safety and yours. There are other Caine ask blogs out there for you to interact with that have older mods, show them some love!

I will delete any asks or submissions that I feel uncomfortable posting.

Please DON’T submit asks in the comments OR in my dms if the ask box is closed. I will not accept those and you will have to send them in again once the ask box is open. Please. I'm not trying to be rude but I cannot stress this enough!

What if they just fell apart after being restored during the Ending, like a LEGO set, and had to deal with their issues, @lover-without-a-heart, and kept all their memories

(Takes place Post-@lover-without-a-heart blog ending i recommend going through it first before starting this one)

(This is based on an idea I had for a fanfic)

*cough* *cough* THE "GOOD" ENDING:

His restoration just caused him to split because his code was too unstable. After being in the bin for too long, they got out at the last moment which is why they split apart

"I don't know??" Kinger said As Caine got up from the ground, Abel noticed him first, only to stare at... himself? No... that was oh-

This guy chomped me Well, not really as his intrusive thought implied, but this "copy" of him was Caine. He was responsible for his existence.

abel was clueless, and his AI felt too... bare like having a bandaid ripped from him in a cold shift moment

ragatha finally came up to ask them how they were doing

Before Caine turned to the person who seemed to be screaming loudly Caine had a feeling that the blue-eyed guy wasn't Okay. ...who WAS this guy anyways?

A shame I never got around to drawing something for

I had wanted to draw something for @lover-without-a-heart sooner, however the sad (but fitting) ending to the ask blog gave me the push I needed to actually do it.

I feel like I might have gone a bit overboard with the glitch effects, but I’ve been staring at this for so long my eyes hurt so it is what it is. (How you managed to draw with such saturated colors on a black background for the entire ask blog astounds me)

You know, none of us do only good or only bad things.

The world isn't black and white, and I guess... there are pros and cons to that.

For instance, I can't really call my old self a good person. Personally, I think I was an awful kid—petty, traumatized, and self-centered. I still look back at those times with pure cringe.

But... I guess there’s a silver lining. Because of that, I now understand how not to act, and every day I try my best to make sure that old version of me stays in the past.

I truly believe that anyone can change for the better, if they really want to.

I reckon people like us should vibe together:) So, wanna be my partner in trauma-

OKAY!!!!!!!!! CALM DOWN!!!! Here’s your HAPPY ENDING guys

So, this idea didn’t really make it to the drawing stage. It was simply a concept that I didn’t find as interesting or satisfying compared to the actual ending. But here it is! I will draw and explain what could have happened in this scrapped finale.

This takes place after the actual ending, so it was gonna have more panels to it but I decided to let them die. Anyway, what you see here is Caine being magically restored to the circus! But, uuum, turns out his body does not actually exist and that’s because…

They were backed up to their much more earlier version. In this ending, Kinger successfully managed to restore Caine! With a few hiccups, though. There was no recent backup of the Caine we all knew and loved, and there was only this veeerrry very old one. Also I think Kinger would have been able to catch the computer before it fell into the void, no idea why he didn’t (old man reflexes). His hands can move around with no boundaries at all, which can be shown in the pilot.

The red and blue ai have no recollection of what happened, or even the circus at all. The first image shown with Caine is them being in shock due to a whole new environment. The backup file was made shortly after the red ai absorbed the blue one, but restoring the file made them separate. I can imagine the humans learning how to conjure to try and fix the circus, but their efforts only did so little. And without the actual Caine to help, the humans just have even more responsibilities on their plate. I think that the two AIs would eventually fuse (willingly) and they’ll be Caine again, I dunno though.

That’s as far as I went before realizing that I wasn’t too satisfied with this idea. It’s a great concept on its own, but I felt that it wouldn’t fit in my AU.
