So, I've put our favorites in another universe again, and this time they're in the anime "The Ancient Magus' Bride." This is one of the first anime I've watched, and it's one of the few that I really enjoyed. The characters are all relatable in some way. The plot isn't overly complex, as I've found. The story focuses on exploring the characters' emotions and thoughts. I love this kind of storytelling.
I also think the anime shares similarities with the characters from the circus. To be more precise, with Pomni and Kane (yes, I'm a shipper, and I'll find them everywhere).
Ellias is a sorcerer. He's a creature that's one of a kind. As I remember. Sorry if I'm wrong.
So, he's lonely and doesn't understand human emotions. In fact, everything feels foreign to him. Even in the world of creatures (where all sorts of creatures live), he doesn't feel at home.
And then Chise enters his life. She is a person with extraordinary abilities. Unlike ordinary people, she can see various creatures.
She has a tragic story that can be better understood by watching the anime itself.
As fate would have it, Ellis buys Chise, and their adventures begin.
They learn to live together, to trust each other, and Chise teaches Elias about human emotions.
And all this reminds me of Showtime. Remember also unwillingly ends up in a circus and eventually comes to terms with his fate and teaches Kane feelings (this is how most comics and FF are written).
In general, I really love both TADC and Bride and just couldn't pass by.
