Why Stargazing?
I had written this in a previous post but let's just say things happened and I ended up deleting it 🫠 (English is not my first language. Sorry)
Stargazing is the art of contemplating the stars. It's something that appreciates the importance of details, and it's also something that requires a lot of patience, being the kind of love that I want Cam and Reagan have bewteen each other: a love that allows them to grow together. I have the idea that when Reagan looks into Cam's eyes it seems that there are a sky full of stars because of the emotion she feels when she sees Reagan.
It's a relationship with many emotions involved, since both of them overthink about themself and the relationship. Cam usually give and make the space to talk with Reagan, even if anxiety is eating her alive. The two are more alike than they would like to admit.
Cam is one of those people who believes in the idea that if something is worth it, it should be taken care of, and the way to do that is by speaking, considering herself 'the bravest coward' everytime she talks with Reagan about their relationship or when she must learn to give space to process conflicts between them.
I like the analogy of 'moon x star' 🌟🌙, trying to trust in each other about their secrets and desires. I want them to be friends before being girlfriends, and able to count on each other no matter what comes their way, whether it's an incident at Cognito or simply having to deal with adult life and being 30.
Reagan is the moon that illuminates everything, that passes through facets, alone most of the time. Cam is a star, she shines to lead, but not to stand out .They stay until dawn, together 🩷

Overthinker x overthinker
Slow burn / Strangers to friends to lovers
Boss x employer
'She felt first but she felt harder' (Cam was the first to fall in love)
Shared trauma (They both have shitty dads. Really shitty dads)
