only reason there is no cursing in atla is because every just chose not to cuss in front of Aang

But what they don't know is that Aang, having traveled the world, has long been familiar with curses. They don't realize because he only uses words that were curses one hundred years ago, like monkeyfeathers, and he can't learn modern curses because everyone thinks he doesn't curse
