seward: man since Lucy rejected me all I have to fill my time is this fucking guy and his fucking bugs. I’m happy for her and Arthur but damn I sure wish I had some big important project to work on to give my life meaning

Dracula Daily sketch for July 20th
July 20: "There were a few feathers about the room and on his pillow a drop of blood"
19th of July- When I came in he threw himself on his knees before me and implored me to let him have a cat; that his salvation depended upon it.
Aside from the jokes about the begging for a kitten, this entry is really Seward again being at a new low and Renfield showing the consequences of said low. Neither of them are in the right mind right now to at least continue a semblance of a treatment, which is Jack's fault for continuously pushing doctor - patient separation.
Again, Seward encourages Renfield's madness and his experiments despite him knowing how it would end for the animals, and only refused Renfield's request for a kitten because Seward wanted to see how he would react. Not caring about how this situation is quickly spiraling into unethical treatment since Seward cares more for his own forming theory about his view on Renfield than Renfield's actual needs as his patient. And with this pushing, and pulling Renfield becomes more volatile to the detriment of his mental health, which will delay more his healing process, and it will keep him vulnerable under Seward's control.
Super late, but here's today's kitten scene. I feel it needed more begging eyes.

What if we give R. M. Renfield a bird-eating spider? Would that work or would it just get confusing?
Renfield: Ah yes, the faultless logic of the food chain shall not fail me. Insect devoured by spider, spider by bird, bird by cat, and on and on up the route until the great sum of consumed life is at its zenith and primed to feed me in turn--
Goliath birdeater spider, slurping down birds, rodents, and any other meaty little mammal it can: ::::)
Renfield: the fuck

Renfield: Jerk isn't giving me a cat! The Cat Distribution System doesn't come here often!!!
Dracula Daily sketch for July 19th
In which Renfield asks Seward for a pet.
Let's finally solve this great question now with Seward's podcast on air.
Should Renfield get a kitten, a little kitten to feed?
Yes of course! 😀😙
NO! Fuck no! 💀❌

July 18: You're a crewman aboard the Demeter. There's something on board that shouldn't be here. Something bad is going to happen. Someone needs to take watch while everyone else sleeps. Time to draw lots... If you choose the option with the least amount of votes, you're on watch tonight, and whatever happens, happens. Good luck.
