I remember reading somewhere that America has the largest military budget in the world. It could cut that budget by 90% and still have the largest military budget in the world. It’s been a while since I read that fact, so there is a (small) chance it’s not true anymore. For a country not actually at war with anyone that’s ridiculous. Imagine the good that could be done if that money were put into education or healthcare.
