my heart on your hands ( sungmin & jin )
Sungmin immediately yanked his arm off Seokjin’s grip, as if his touch over Sungmin’s skin was like acid. “We can’t!” He said louder than he had expected. He had his eyes glued on the floor, his legs shaking and threatening to stop supporting him up. He didn’t mean to sound that harsh, he really didn’t want to yell at Seokjin, but he didn’t know how else to react. His whole body was set on defense, as if Seokjin was some kind of predator that was haunting for his pray, and as if Sungmin was the pray that had to run away from it.
In his head, the sweet voice in which Seokjin had spoken to him just seconds before was playing like on repeat. Sungminnie. It hurt his heart to hear that nickname coming out from his lips. How long has it been since someone called him that? He had always tried to avoid people using that nickname on him because it belonged to certain someone, certain someone who was standing right in front of him.
Although it took all of Sungmin’s strength to look up from the floor and place his gaze at Seokjin’s, he still tried to act as if it wasn’t that hard. But his act was soon broken at the sight of the older, and the way his eyes were looking at him. Sungmin swallowed hard and sniffled quietly as his eyes decided to shed some tears. His hands were shaking, and he actually looked like a child who had thought he had lost his mom in a shopping center or in a crowded street.
With shaky hands and his lips letting out a quiet sob, he lifted his arms towards Seokjin and took some steps closer. He knew he shouldn’t, he knew that that wasn’t what the oldest wanted, he knew that proximity would only push the older away. But Sungmin missed him. He missed him like a younger brother would miss his oldest brother. So without putting too much thinking into it, he wrapped his shaky arms around Seokjin’s frame, his whole body trembling when he felt the elder’s warmth. And he felt nice, he felt safe. He felt just like some years before they broke apart and became strangers. He felt good, because he was hugging his best friend. He buried his face into Seokjin’s neck and sobbed against the warm skin, his hands gripping tightly onto the fabric of his shirt as his heart pounded achingly inside his chest. “Y-you can’t f-fix it, Seokjin-ssi…” He whispered in between sobs.
When Sungmin harshly pulled away from him, Jin thought he had failed and that the other was going to run away right then and there. However, he was shocked that Sungmin stayed. Looking at his old friend, Jin could see the years of pain and sadness on his face. His heart dropped even more when he saw tears stream from Sungmin's eyes. Jin had a strong desire to wipe the tears and hug his old friend dearly but restrained himself and stayed quiet, shaking slightly.
As if Sungmin read his mind, the younger boy suddenly stepped closed to Jin and hugged him. He was surprised but the act of affection was welcomed and he reciprocated the hug kindly. He gently rubbed his hand up and down Sungmin's back, a small smile appearing on his face. It was like the good old days when the would comfort each other. Sungmin's sobs grew more urgent and Jin became more motherly, whispering things like "It's okay" to the younger boy.
It was peaceful aside from the crying but Jin was caught offguard when Sungmin said that he could not fix the problem. "That may be true..." he admitted quietly, still holding onto the younger. "B-but I want us to be friends again. I do love you! And I'm sorry." Jin assured Sungmin. "Can we talk this over? Maybe outside of the lecture hall?"
Whipped Into Shape | Seokjin & Minah
She used the pink sparkly pen from the clip board to tap his lips as he gave her a nickname, “Jin? Sounds mysterious, I like it!” She exclaimed raising her hands in the air but then threw the clipboard to the ground. “Pfft, at least you catch on. Football players are cute, but male cheerleader? Probably someone I can give a limb to.” Her way of saying that she would trust a fellow cheerleader before really having to trust anyone on the football team or anyone else. This guy was definitely making a good impression for Minah can either really love you. Or she could really dislike you, 99 percent of the time there were no exceptions no in betweens. Testing male cheerleaders was a bit different, they had to be strong but not afraid to get loud and proud along with the other girls.
Also that he wasn’t here just to say he was here, “Well pal you better hope you can!” She said poking his chest but decided to humor him a bit. “Note I am captain, if you drop me, Jin I will totally beat you up. But alright.” She said stretching her arms over her head, with a yawn that sounded more like a kitten meowing. “You can carry me on your shoulders. So kneel a bit. Remember, be gentle my legs are kind of sore.” She instructed as waited for him to follow her orders.
Jin couldn't help but to laugh at his captain's peppiness and cuteness after watching the clipboard fall. "I'm happy I can make a good impression," he responded with a smile. "I won't fail your or this team!" he added, confidence shining through his grin. After hearing Minah's instructions, Jin nodded at her indicating that he understood.
Jin followed the command, kneeling over to help Minah on his back. She looked pretty thin so Jin had no worries of dropping her. When Minah was closer to him, Jin effortlessly but gently lifted the cheerleader onto his back with her legs dangling on either side of his head. "Is this okay?" he asked her.
my heart on your hands ( sungmin & jin )
Sungmin had had his eyes glued on the top of his desk, not wanting -nor daring, to look up in fear to make eye contact with Seokjin. It was only for today, as he would rearrange hsi schedule and probably never bump into him ever again. After all, it was for the better, and it was the way things should’ve been. Why was he there, anyway? Why Seongnam? Why the same class as Sungmin? He whimpered quietly and sulked in his spot, waiting without looking up for the classroom to be completely empty.
He didn’t hear any kind of noise for a bit, so he deduced the class was empty. Looking up, his eyes spotted the only person in the class, the only person he was avoiding to cross sighs with, the only person that was looking at him with wide eyes and pale face, as if he had seen a ghost. And he was probably right, as it wasn’t part of their plans to bump into the other. Sungmin couldn’t rip his eyes off the oldest, his heart achingly beating in his chest. Sungmin’s mind was racing, his head divided into two sides: one of them wanting Seokjin to leave and not turn to face him ever again, and the other side begging for Seokjin to approach him and do something— anything, really. A smile, a nod, a bow, a handshake. Just anything.
And, as if Seokjin could read Sungmin’s troubled and racing mind, he started to approach him. The lump in his throat grew even bigger and it made it hard to swallow, his heart racing as well as his head, if that was even possible, and his whole skin being covered with cold sweat. This feeling wasn’t pleasant at all. And he realized that it was because of Seokjin’s presence. That maybe, even if part of his heart was dying to have Seokjin back into his life even if it was as a friend, not even a best friend -like Sungmin had considered him before all their friendship went downhill, he was not ready just yet. His heart was not ready, although he had thought he was.
With an abrupt movement, Sungmin stood up from his seat and grabbed his bag with shaky hands. He gave Seokjin one glance before looking down, taking some steps back before Seokjin was right in front of him. “I’ll change my schedule,” he said in a low, weak voice. He gulped down in silence, feeling his eyes stinging with tears. He was so not going to cry right there, but just talking to Seokjin was painful. “You won’t have to see me again, I won’t make this more uncomfortable for you. I’m sorry, Seokjin-ssi,” he said, speaking formally, which was more than strange for him. He bowed, not daring to look up in fear the only look at Seokjin’s face would be enough to break him into pieces. He quickly made his way towards the door, avoiding Seokjin as much as he could, his heart aching in his chest and his lower lip quivering slightly.
Although slightly taken aback, Jin did expect Sungmin to act this way. Cold but frightened-- much how Jin acted towards the other a few years ago. He understood that it would be painful for both of them but after the pain comes happiness, right? Jin desired to start on a new leaf with his old friend and that meant putting up with pain. "Don't I get a proper hello, Sungminnie?" Jin asked, trying to bring humor into the situation. "I know it's been awhile since we saw each other but don't be a stranger."
Honestly, Jin was disgusted by this happy aura that he was pretending to put on. In actuality, Jin wanted to bow down on his knees and apologize for all the emotional trauma he caused the other. His mouth opened, a noise exited like he wanted to say something but Sungmin had already made the point that he did not want to be around Jin. Understandably so.
As Sungmin made a run for the door, Jin impulsively grabbed his old friend's arm, silent for a second as he tried to compose his thoughts. "I..." He started, his throat became drier as he became more anxious. "I am so sorry, Sungmin." Jin bit his bottom lip as he thought of what to say next. Words came so hard to him. "I... Can we be friends again? Please?" He looked at the other with pleading eyes. "I want to fix my wrongs."

Peppermint: a candied kiss; our muses fight over the last candy...the one who does manage to grab it gets a sweet surprise, when the other muse kisses them, pulling away with a satisfied smirk, and the sweet treat between their lips.
Cold Coffee: sweet kisses and tired eyes; our muses wake up next to each other, in a tangle of limbs, the sun peaking slightly through the window...but they don't get up, it's much too comfortable in each other's arms.
Fireflies: starry nights, and fireflies; our muses are laying in the grass, either around the pitch black midnight, or somewhere after, with lidded eyes watching the stars, and playing with fireflies.
Pumpkin Spice: messy hair, and warm mugs; our muses are sitting around, having the perfect lazy day...most of it a daze of stolen kisses, and the taste of pumpkin spice on each other's lips.
Lips or Reading: trade a book for my lips; one of our muses has been really invested in a book all day...the other muse feels the need to steal said book away and retrieve his/her kisses.
Splash!: wet hair, transparent underwear; our muses are chasing each other around in the park, eventually in a collision of ankles they are soaked to the bone in a public fountain...not a good day to wear white.
Detention: ticking clocks, and chalky bums; our muses are stuck in detention...they get tired of sitting around and start having fun around the classroom. They end up with chalky hand-prints on their bums.
I Prefer Blue: paint in your hair, you don't play 'fair'; our muses are painting some rooms in the house, a debate between which hue ensues, and ends in an all out paint-war.
Pianos and Clockwork: with clocks we play, and waste the day away; one of our muses is at the piano attempting yet again to master Clocks, the other happens to walk by the door, enticed by the music...by the end of the day, they are playing together...rain a soft pitter patter on the windows.

May I? | Minah & Seokjin
Minah pretended to seem embarrassed at the compliment, “Pfft something I’d hate? So what split ends?” She scoffed before taking the bag with the gifts inside and careful took out the Chanel handbag then her expression turned into an impressed one. Minah hummed inspecting the handbag and much to her satisfaction, “You’re good at cheer and you have great taste, I might have to keep you.” She joked with him before pulling out tickets to— Maldives? Like the islands? She never went there before, what an exotic choice but took it as an opportunity to tease Jin a bit, “Is this you trying to get me alone or something? How forward Jin.” Continuing the teasing tone as she carefully placed them back in the bag and clapped her hands a few times to have one of her assistants take the gift bag to join the rest. She flipped her hair but then looked at Jin and chuckled.
"I’m.. doing just great. Pfft, I can’t even get too drunk or I’d make a fool of myself." But then hearing his offer to dance the girl shrugged her shoulders with a small smile, "Sure, there stud I’d love to dance." Already taking his hand before he could change his mind, "I’m sure you can waltz right?" She asked as maneuvered them around the crowd to get to the dance floor. When her parents said ball, they meant your fairy tale like ball. Waltzing, and the whole nine yards. She guessed it could be seen as stuffy, but at least there was alcohol to soothe the souls who weren’t feeling her party.
Jin looked on with a content smile as Minah opened up her gifts. He knew she'd like it. However, he became a little flustered when she insinuated that the tickets he bought were some sort of way of flirting with her. "N-no! Not at all!" Jin responded, his face flushing from a mix of embarrassment and alcohol. "We could go if you want but I've already been. You're free to take whomever you want!" he reassured her so Minah wouldn't think she was obligated to go with him. The two weren't super close anyway. "I think you'd like the bioluminescent sand. It glows blue in the dark so it's really pretty!" he beamed, fondly remembering the time his family went on vacation there.
"Pfff, of course I can waltz" Jin responded haughtily but added in, "Not that well though." He laughed a bit as they made their way to the dancefloor after Minah grabbed his hand and pulled him. After they found a suitable spot to dance, Jin held onto one of Minah's hands and gently placed placed his other on her waist-just like he learned in dance class.
"I'm leading, okay?" Jin mentioned with a playful smirk. He waited for the beat to match up and then proceeded to move in feet front, right, back, left, as he was taught, leading Minah along smoothly to the music.

May I? | Minah & Seokjin
Minah’s feet were getting a bit tired— not that she was going to let it show. She thanked god for these comfy insoles her mother bought her before the party, or she’d be finding any excuse to keep sitting down. Brushing her hair behind her shoulder and sighed a bit before taking a glass of champagne off a waiter’s tray downing it. Hissing softly at the light bubbles then felt herself calm down a bit more, it was only her second drink anyway she couldn’t have herself be drunk at her own party. She was sure her sisters were doing that somewhere and tormenting guests with their super personal stories, oh and rude comments. Bang Soomi and Hyuna were a different story. Now that she was back into the party, she wondered if she was going to see anyone else she knew. Seeing how for the most part, she didn’t really have toooo much of a say in who was coming. Though she did invite some people all on her own, a few of her friends. Her mother side eyed her choices, seeing how last year her party didn’t go as smoothly. So Minah had to be sure that this year it could be a little better.
But just as soon as that thought ran through her mind, she saw Jin—- her parent’s did pretty well on this year’s guest list for sure. “Jin!” She called as she did a half run in her heels to reach him and smiled a bit. “I’m so glad you could make it.” She said obviously excited to see him, cheer squad has to stick together of course. “Oh, and you better have gotten me a gift or you can go ahead go.” The birthday girl joked a bit, with him then sighed softly, “Are you having a good time so far?” She casually asked him, it was her duty to be sure everyone was having a good time. Because if they didn’t, she’d go down as one of the worst party throwers over. Or worse, what if they didn’t like her dress? Her hair seemed fine during her last mirror check, so she just hoped even if the party was a bust she could at least look great while having a horrible party.
The party was definitely livening up although Jin hadn't mustered up the courage to go out on the dance floor just yet. Maybe one more drink... he thought and began to inch between the crowd of people to the bar. On his way there, Jin heard a familiar voice call out his name despite the blaring music. He looked up and saw Minah (kinda) running his way.
He smiled at the sight of his captain. "Minah! Happy birthday! You look beautifullll" he greeted, pulling her into a brief hug. Letting go from the hug, Jin jokingly responded. "I got something you'd totally hate." He handed the birthday girl a gift bag that contained the Chanel handbag and tickets to the Maldives he bought for her. "Have a good one!"
With a nod, Jin responded. "Mhm. It's a really great party! I was just going to get a drink because I am not drunk enough to dance out there." He laughed a bit. "What about you? Are you having fun? It's your party after all." Jin noticed that Minah sighed earlier and it seems that she may not be having a good time after all. "How about we dance together?" Jin offered kindly.
Whipped Into Shape | Seokjin & Minah
Minah loved when she got new male recruits for cheer, it was like a wonderful feeling to know that even guys realize the need for spirit on the field. If the team was down and out, it was their job to turn those frowns upside down. Not to mention Minah took her position as cheer captain more serious than anything, some people were born to be a cheerleader Minah is one of those people. “Kim Seokjin.” She said simply looking around to see whose ear’s perked up first and smiled as she made her way over to him. “Well, hey there. I’m Minah, your cheer captain. I’m glad to have you on the team this year!” She said with a bounce and clapping her hands though it was a bit awkward seeing how she had a clipboard in her hands.
"Now, being a guy on cheer is even better than being in football, you get to hang with the prettiest girls." She proceeded to comment, before pulling him into a hug giving him a giant squeeze. "Yay!" She squealed almost before laughing at her own excitement and pulled away. "Okay, but seeing how we only have so many boys on our team, we really need some strong guys. Do you think you can lift any of these girls in the air with ease?" Minah crossed her arms, before looking over at the rest of the cheer squad, "Hey everyone except the newest recruits stay. The rest of you go over there and stretch, or run laps." The girl instructed before looking over at Seokjin.
The cheer tryouts were a feat but Jin overcame it with ease. Joining cheer was something that he wanted to do ever since he did gymnastics as little kid but he was too busy with Poli Sci stuff in university to actually continue his hobby. Now, Jin stood there at the first cheer meet with a bright, proud grin on his face in front of the captain, a girl in his grade named Minah.
She was quite the character and Jin's happy smile grew as she spoke to him. Minah was like a happy virus or an ever growing ray of sunshine. Whatever she was, Jin was amused by it. "Hi! You can call me Jin. I'm really happy to be here," he greeted politely before Minah suddenly hugged him, causing a surprised grunt to exit his mouth. When she pulled back, Jin laughed and finally had a chance to respond. "The only reason boys join the cheer team is for pretty girls," he said teasingly. The newest teammate watched as everyone else went to train and looked back at Minah."I, uh, I think I can lift you all up!" Jin responded with only a bit of confidence. "How about I lift you up first?"

alone at a party ( kevin & jin)
After taking forever to get ready, Princess Jin, an infamous diva, was finally ready to head out to Minah's big birthday party. He was dressed fashionably--his hair tousled into perfect messiness and his dark Armani suit added an air of mystery and sophistication to him. In other words, Jin was looking mighty fine.
Before heading out, Jin drank two tequila shots to "pre game" before this epic party. Knowing he was probably going to get shit-faced Jin made sure that he contacted his family's personal driver to escort him to the party and back. The young man got into the back of the Kim family's luxurious limo and headed off to the party.
He looked inside of the box that held Minah's gifts and smiled with satisfaction. Jin knew that Minah had a similar background as him and possessed an expensive taste. For that reason, Jin got Minah a Chanel handbag and two tickets to a resort in the Maldives. He hoped that she would be impressed.
The car approached the party venue and Jin bid his driver farewell before entering the fancy place. Music was blaring and it was a bit crowded even though the party had just begun. Jin's main concern was calming down a bit so he headed directly to the bar for his third and fourth drinks of the night. He sat down at the bar, alone, and sighed. Jin didn't really know anyone that was here yet and fell out of place. He didn't see Minah or any of his other friends yet and was about to leave when a stranger approached him. He looked up and smiled a bit. "Yes?"

Jin opened up the prettily decorated envelope he just received and carefully read the ornate and fancy words printed on it. As he read, the young man's face brightened up with increasing happiness. Jin was friendly but not a regular at social events such as this. And with Bang Minah, one of the most popular, talented, and beautiful girls at SNU. He felt like a million bucks to be honest.
Quickly whipping out his phone, Jin send a text to Minah.
[txt: Bang Minah] Hey~ I got your invitation! I'll definitely be there. ^^
After sending the message, he sighed. "Now...what to wear?" And Jin ran to his closet.
