I harvested this axis last last year, and finally got around to mounting him! He is the first animal I’ve ever hunted, and I made sure to use as much of him as I can. He fed me and my friends and family for a whole year! He’s drying, and soon I will paint him.

This poor baby waterbuck was slain by another animal. He was just going to be thrown in the dump, so I skinned him to mount him. It’ll be a cool project, I hope to do him justice in the afterlife!

New species alert. Mounted my first Nilagi. They’re native to India but since they were introduced to Texas in the 1930’s most specimens we receive are hunted on Texas ranches.
