She keeps it in…

No matter how much

The hypocrisy attacks her sanity.

At times she doesn’t recognize the reflection in her vanity

She’s wearing thin, becoming

Seemingly invisible to

Her closest friends.

She knows another challenge is about to

Begin.

But now she’s thinking if she is even strong enough to Win..

She keeps it in

Because when she let it out

Her “friend” looked at her different.

She hates to be looked at as weak

So in private she allows the tears to leak.

Painting a picture that no one will see.

You see you ever had that friend that pretended to care?

They said that they love you when they

Needed you but when you needed them

They weren’t there?

The hypocrite lies in their beliefs

They tell you what you want to hear

But their intentions are discreet.

She keeps it in

And inside she’s praying that the lies

Will come to an end

She is strong, she is powerful, she is smart and kind.

So why are you intent on making her lose her mind?

She has no choice but to become stronger and fight harder.

So if you’re trying to bring her down

I would suggest you don’t even bother.

Finding yourself after becoming a mom is not as easy as you think. I became a mom at 17, so I feel as though I stripped myself of a proper ending to my adolescent years. But now I wonder if I ever even found the adult version of me. I don’t know if I’m making sense to anyone else, but to me it does.
