1. How many books have you read so far this year?
22 ! I honestly haven't read that much in comparison to previous years so I'm 5 books behind on my reading goal as of rn
2. What is the best book you’ve read so far in 2025?
educated by tara westover! it was so well written and so interesting, i couldn't put it down.
2.5. What is the worst book you’ve read so far in 2025?
i've been mostly dnf-ing books if I didn't like them so all my reads have been 3 stars +, but I'd say passion project by london sperry because i don't remember a thing about it lol
3. What is your favourite sequel of the first half of the year?
not necessarily a sequel since i read heated rivalry first but game changer by rachel reid was so good! scott and kip are so cute
4. Is there a new release you want to read, but haven't yet?
so many! i'm currently reading yesteryear which i'm excited about, but also into the blue by emma brodie because i've heard amazing things about it
5. Most anticipated release for the second half of the year?
definitely vine of hearts by julie soto (sequel to rose in chains which was my top read of 2025) and of course i'm counting down the days until acotar 6!
6. What is your biggest disappointment so far?
probably looking for alaska by john green :( i've heard a lot of good things but i think i'm just not a fan of his writing style. i think if i was 14 and read it i would have felt better about it
7. What is your biggest surprise so far?
shark heart by emily habeck- it was nothing what i expected but in a good way, the writing style was beautiful
8. A book that made you cry?
unfortunately i don't think a book has made me cry yet this year but i'd say the saddest book i've read is the lilac people by milo todd. it was so heartbreaking to learn more about what transgender people had to go through during and the aftermath of ww2
9. A book that made you happy?
in your dreams by sarah adams! i love this romance series so much, i don't know what she puts in those books but they're so wholesome
10. What books do you want to read by the end of the year?
i definitely want to focus on getting through my physical tbr (even if that means dnf-ing half of them), along with new releases. i really want to read 11/22/63 by stephen king but i'm intimidated lol
