Hello is 3am and I have a question: what would the xod doods(+ lynn) do if their s/o water broke in the middle of the night
3 am, the perfect time for water breakage (I’m so sorry)
Everett: It takes a while to wake him up but once he’s awake, he’s so STRESSED. He starts wigging out and cursing. His S/O would have to snap him out of it to get him to pack a bag for everything they need at the hospital. Everett would be running all over the place, his partner shouting orders so he’d actually know what to get. He’s a wreck on the way to the hospital, feeling completely unprepared for this and still half-asleep. He has to call his mom to really calm down and deal with everything.
Nate: Time to die panic PREPARE FOR THE WORST. Nate, of course, already had a hospital bag packed like two months ahead, but he’ll still be running around and fussing to make sure they don’t forget anything. He’ll hustle his S/O to the car and focus on helping them calm down and breathing so he can calm down himself. He drives so slowly but so carefully and keeps checking on them every ten seconds. Once they get to the hospital, he is one stressed mess.
Shiloh: ??? It is a mystery. Shiloh immediately plays the part of the capable partner. He runs his partner through breathing exercises and packs a bag, all while still groggy. He’ll be significantly dialed down from his usual cheery disposition but will still listen to and agree with everything his S/O says. On the ride there, he’s quiet but calm, as if something’s on his mind (I wonder what), but will smile and be supportive if his partner asks what’s up.
Bae: It takes his S/O smacking him hard and screaming at him that their water broke to get him up. And even then, he’s not totally there. He tries to help his partner pack stuff but he moves like such a sloth, they pack it before he even gets a second shirt. They have to douse him with cold water in order to really wake him up, and then he’s cognizant and able to take care of his partner. He holds their hand the whole way to the hospital and reminds them how much he cares about them.
Jeremy: Tbh it’s pretty likely this guy was already awake, being an insomniac with messed-up sleeping habits. His eyes would grow wide and he’d be like, “you mean right now?” YES, RIGHT NOW. His S/O would force him to pack everything they need for the hospital, then make his nervous butt drive to the said place. He’d likely be in a state of shock for the whole thing but would overall handle it pretty well. Until, you know, the active labor.
Pran: He’s confused for a solid ten seconds until he finally realizes why his heavily pregnant S/O is shouting at him in the middle of the night. Automatically, he checks to make sure they’re okay, at least outwardly, before getting out of bed to pack a bag. His S/O is telling him everything that needs to be put into it, and he’s acting like a robot but his mind is blank with shock and worry. Upon leaving home, he is extremely careful on the way to the hospital, almost fearing they’ll break like glass. It’s his own way of showing he cares.
