I was having a little hope that he might be alive, but I just checked the chronological order  and the Boba episodes happened before this :( 

If the cadets we see in this episode are the same cadets as the ones in Death Trap, then the little blonde´s name was Hotshot and it´s very likely that he died there bc he was right next to Rex, Cody, Fives and Echo when the droids entered the barracks

We don´t see him again after this.
