Took the Midnight Train Goin' Anywhere [Closed :: indignants]

It would be a bit longer before the train reached Sector two, but Naoto was just glad for the break from walking. And admittedly the train was a bit more comfortable than their hut, so they just relaxed, deciding to enjoy the rest while they could. However at the sound of a voice, they opened their eyes again.
Naoto blinked, looking up at the girl giving them a questioning look. The stop? They hadn’t been paying much attention, their stop being farther down.
"Hm? Oh, I’m not sure." Glancing out the window, Naoto could make out a flickering sign reading ‘Sector Six’. Ah. Awkward. Looking back at the girl, Naoto pointed at the sign, looking sympathetic. "Er, six, actually." It was good for them, considering this only took them closer to Sector two, but Naoto felt bad for the girl. Scratching the back of their neck, they shrugged. "Ah… bad luck, huh?" They mumbled awkwardly.
Blue hues widened after hearing the answer. Automatically she frowned, her contained temper from earlier today was just set free. "Stupid train! What the hell was I doing that made me miss my stop?" She crossed her arms and turned away from the entrance in disgust. Almost ignoring the blue haired strangers presence as she threw her fit Asuka noticed the remaining people on the train where starting to look at her. Asuka looked around and tried to calm herself. She bit her lip and tried to hold it back.
"Hmp. My luck is usually better than this."The brownish red haired girl mumbled under her breath. "When's your stop?" Asuka looked back over to the person beside her. She placed her hand on her hip with an irritated look on her face. She was honestly trying her hardest right now. And it's not like the stranger deserved to be dragged into this mess.

Took the Midnight Train Goin' Anywhere [Closed :: indignants]
In hindsight, Naoto wished that they’d learned about the train earlier. It would’ve saved their feet an awful lot of pain from walking all day.
Leaning against the train seat with a yawn, the detective shut their eyes. They couldn’t fall asleep on here, it would be most prudent to get back to their home, since it was probably safer. Their aching feet were keeping them from dozing off, anyways.
Another day of investigation in the city that had uncovered… well, not too much. Naoto had spoken to people they’d determined to be true locals of the city, but they hadn’t said anything Naoto hadn’t already heard. In the back of their mind, they wondered if it might not be a bad idea to take a break for a bit. But… if they didn’t occupy their mind with learning about the city, their thoughts would wander to, well, homesickness. And with attempting an escape near impossible, and downright idiotic, there was nothing to do for the unpleasant feelings of loneliness except distract themself.
They were no stranger to loneliness, of course, and Yosuke was here as well; but nonetheless, it bothered them.
As the train doors slid open, having reached a sector, Naoto cracked an eye open, wondering if anyone would board. There weren’t many people riding the train right now, and it was quiet besides the bustle of the city outside.
Snuggled up in her red jacket, Asuka sat on the train and awaited for the train to make the stop to her destination. It was a cool evening in the city. Lately she had been looking for a job. Unfortunately for her she wasted a whole day doing such. It just was really irritating to her that she was forced into this city and forced to live in some ugly hut and get a job on her own. Life back in Japan was almost made for her. Years and years of training to pilot evangelion unit two were wasted. But she tried not to complain about it as much. Recently Asuka had become more accepting of the fact she'd probably never make it out of here. And dying is not an option for her.
Not many people were riding on here tonight. It wasn't surprise, although. With all these weird monsters that wonder around in certain sectors, it would be understanding to avoid being out at night. The girl wasn't very scared of them, she only saw a few around winter when the scientists announced the hive would freeze over and everyone would most likely die. But those are memories she would like to forget.
Moments later she snapped back into reality after feeling the train come to a stop. This must be the place she wanted to be. Pulling herself up from her seat she made her way to the exit. Blue hues observed another person standing by the exit. Before she left she needed to make sure this was the right stop because when relaxing she lost track of time. Brownish red hair swayed as she turned her head in the direction of the blue haired stranger.
"This is Sector five's stop, right?"

"If it’s boring you, you should try to make the most out of it. None of us———probably———are gonna get out of here any time soon, so there’s no point in complaining. …In the first place, what’s boring you? There’s a lot to accomplish here."
"I know, I know." Asuka let out sigh while crossing her arms."Everything here is boring me, okay? Point out three things that can be accomplished here. I'd really like to hear them."
-
" Yeah it can be pretty bland , but with the right crowd .. ” He smiled widely , joining the other on the bench beside her. Arms behind his head. ” Maybe i can make it somewhat worth your time . ”
The German had small hints of blush on her face after the male sat next to her. She didn't think anyone heard her, and on top of that he was a cute guy. She was quick to reply after that. "I guess. But it all really depends. What do you plan to do?"

"This place is so boring..." The pilot said with a sigh while sitting on a bench. Asuka placed her chin on her hand and stared off at the people around her. She really hated this city sometimes...
