It’s been a while since I’ve been here To sing with you my sweet and dear I need to take a break I think Till once again my thoughts are pink

I’m not too busy, sick or done And wish Happy Holiday’s to everyone Maybe after the first of the year Returning after things are more clear

Stay well and happy this holiday season Being alive, helping others a beautiful reason Don’t forget the bee loves you And grateful for the love given me too

I’ll miss you all my darlin sweets Looking forward till next time we meet Keep all your talents and gifts glowing But for me… just now…I must bee going…

Problem Resolved

So, what exactly does one do after sitting down to write, and then coming up with half of a poem?  The simple solution is to ask your wonderfully kind and talented friend @teaberrybee to write the second half.  Thankfully she generously agreed, and after we figure out a cool title, and iron out some contractual obligations (LOL on that part), I’ll be sharing it in a little while.  Big thank you to her, and… Much love to all, Mike <3

                                                The Graveyard

                             The blood red moon burned the sky with flame                                   Was it in it’s magic, that made me insane                                 To travel alone in the graveyard that night                            I gathered my coat round my neck nice and tight

                                Step one, step two, cold wet feet                                  Tread over the dead, buried 6 foot deep                                       No company but a big black crow                                 Who guarded a grave on the 13th row

                                 It’s been a while, since last walking here                             Tonight the air haunts, warns of ghosts near                                   For a moment I lost my wandering way                                    I couldn’t find where sweet Agnes lay

                               Then, there just over the dried leafed hill                            3 maids stood huddled, shivering with chill                                   “We know it’s silly, each one said,                             But we are scared to be here with the dead…

                               Will you keep our company, walk us away?                                         In your dept, we will always stay”                                         “Of course I will, I sympathized                                  I felt that way too once…when I was alive”

Water Catching Up

penchant for being possessed, pennies mid-flip, eggwhite for texture split between the spittings-up, verdigris admirably applied and the eye barely keeping track, a tract of barley out by the road, a barn not burnt with no sign of charring but sparring with gravity, a sparrow narrowing on the scene carries this or thataway, is talkative that afternoon competing with the stream, worried when the water is catching up
