Summary: Nya doesn't want to search for her soulmate. The goose chasing her doesn't care.

Nya didn't want to look for her soulmate, not after being accepted into such a prestigious college. She was excited to study engineering and work on vehicles of all kinds—she couldn't split her attention between school and a relationship! She hoped her soulmate would understand.
It was her nineteenth birthday, the special day when her life got much more annoying. Any moment now, a goose was going to appear and start chasing her in the direction of her soulmate. It'd been hilarious when her brother had gotten his goose; but now that it was her turn, she was not amused.
She had no idea what to do if her soulmate was far away. Her parents had given her money if that was the case, but it was time she was worried about. She just needed to talk to this person, and the goose would go away. Then, she could go straight back home and start taking courses. She was tired of doing nothing.
She didn't blame colleges for only allowing people who'd found their soulmate, though. No one got a high grade in any class when there was a goose biting them the entire time.
She jumped as she heard the dreaded honk and spotted it charging at her. She immediately took off on her bicycle, geese were much scarier now that one was after her. She barely heard her family wish her good luck over its ruckus.
She cycled through the heart of Ignacia. People laughed lightheartedly and ducked out of her way.
When she reached the edge of the village, she stopped to see which way the creature wanted her to go. It moved to the left of her with its wings stretched out in an effort to block her.
"Right it is," She muttered aloud.
She started peddling again. She lit up when she realized which way she was going.
She turned her head around to the goose. "Are we going to Ninjago City? That's where I'm going to college!"
It honked at her repeatedly, but it'd been doing that the whole time, so she couldn't consider that confirmation. She hoped she was right. Behind the city was ocean, so either her soulmate was in the city, or they were on the other side of the continent. She'd lose her mind if she was forced to take a plane or boat.
She trekked through the desert. The sun was beating down on her face, but it was manageable. She was used to hot temperatures anyway from growing up in Ignacia.
She stopped at the side of a mountain and pulled out a bottle of water from her backpack. She chugged all of it within a few seconds. The goose squawked at her.
"Give me a minute!" She shouted, "Don't you need a break too!?"
It tried to nip her ankles. She groaned as she put the bottle back.
She continued riding in the direction of the city. The desert was mostly sand and open sky, but a few cacti were scattered around. The emptiness would've been eerie if it weren't for the creature chasing after her.
When she finally reached her destination, she was exhausted. She stuck her bike in a bicycle rack and darted into a store. She slammed the door behind her. The goose honked angrily, but she ignored it.
She let the air conditioning clear her head for a minute, and she chugged half of her other water bottle. An employee began approaching her, but she waved them off. "Don't worry, I'm going."
She threw her empty bottles away, then pulled the door open. The goose dashed behind her. She got back on her bike.
She peddled slowly, and it waddled at the same pace. It guided her farther into the crowded city. She laughed as she spotted someone else running from their own goose. The two of them waved at each other in a moment of solidarity.
Nya soon found herself in front Borg Tower. "Wow, that... is dangerously tall."
She tried to go around the tower, but the goose blocked her path. It nudged her back tire. She took the hint.
There wasn't a place to put her bike, so she leaned it against the wall. She stepped inside awkwardly, hating the amount of people turning to stare at her and her squawking goose.
It flapped its wings, threatening to hit her. She let it lead her to the elevator and called it down to her.
"I don't have to search every floor, do I?" She asked miserably, "Surely you know which button to—"
The door opened, and the creature instantly pushed her into someone. She almost toppled over the person in a wheelchair. She backed away, profusely apologizing.
The person she'd bumped into was some kind of android with bright green eyes. The man in the wheelchair she recognized as Cyrus Borg himself.
He chuckled, "No need to apologize, these geese have minds of their own. Feel free to explore the tower."
He rolled out of the elevator, and the android trailed behind him. The goose honked wildly, spreading its wings and pushing Nya out of the elevator.
The android noticed what was happening and approached her. "Perhaps your soulmate is about to come down the other elevator?"
The goose circled the two of them. Borg beamed. "Pixal... I think you have a soulmate."
"...That is not possible. I am not human."
"Look at it!"
The goose nudged Nya a bit closer to Pixal. Then, it let out a final honk and ran out of the building.
Nya gazed at the woman in front of her. She would've never guessed that her soulmate wouldn't be human.
"Hi," She said softly, "I'm Nya."
"I am P.I.X.A.L., the Primary Interactive X-ternal Assistant Life-form here at Borg Tower. I excel at creating technology and enjoy learning new things, but I am also blunt to the point where I am often considered rude. Are we compatible?"
Summary: In an alternate universe, Lloyd goes to a masquerade ball being hosted by Queen Vania, and he meets someone who makes his heart flutter.
Focus: Lloyd, Morro
Relationship: Lloyd/Morro

Lloyd's muscles relaxed as he entered the building. He was finally free from the cold outside.
It felt weird to not have his friends beside him. However, Vania had been very clear that the whole point of a masquerade ball was for everyone's identity to be kept a secret. And if he and the other ninja all arrived at the same time, people would immediately know it was them.
He was taking the event seriously for her. He wasn't even wearing his signature color for the event, instead opting for a black suit with gold accents and a golden mask.
He glanced around the ballroom. People were dancing to fast, upbeat music coming from the live band playing on one of the balconies. The light from the chandeliers cast a warm glow over the white and beige room, making the bright colors of everyone's outfits stand out.
Lloyd stood awkwardly at the bottom of the stairs, a little overwhelmed by the crowd. He scanned the room for his friends.
"Feel a little intimidated?" Someone in a green dress shirt and black slacks had approached him from the side. A man, he assumed, based on the sound of his voice.
"Just a bit," Lloyd replied with a nervous laugh.
"You're not the only one." The person turned to look out over the dance floor. "I'm definitely out of my element here. I'm not even good at dancing, honestly."
"Neither am I."
The music stopped. Everybody walked their dance partner out of the center of the room.
"This was a cool idea, though. A masquerade ball, that is," Lloyd said.
"It is. Only time will tell whether Queen Vania will turn out to be a good ruler or not, but she's certainly more fun than her father ever was."
Lloyd nodded, recounting the battles between his friends and the evil former king. "I think Vania's gonna turn out to be a great queen."
The man looked back at the blonde, cocking his head slightly to the side. Lloyd could barely see his eyes through the shadows of the black mask. They appeared to be hazel, a dark contrast to Lloyd's bright green.
The music started again. It was slower than before, almost enchanting.
The stranger stretched his hand out and smirked. "May I have this dance?"
Lloyd's heart skipped a beat. "I've never slow danced with someone before."
"I haven't either, but how hard can it be?"
"We're gonna make fools of ourselves."
"So? We're at a masquerade ball, no one will know it was us."
Well, he was right about that. Lloyd supposed if his friends saw him, they'd tease him relentlessly, but they'd do that even if he did have dance skills.
He hesitantly took the man in green's hand, letting him lead the way out onto the dance floor.
Lloyd's face heated up because of how close they were to each other. They moved slower than they were supposed to, but they didn't care because they were able to dance properly that way.
"You look gorgeous, by the way," The stranger said.
"You don't even know what I look like."
"So?"
The butterflies in his stomach were going to drive him crazy. "Um, thanks, I guess. You look great too."
"Thank you... So, what brings you here?"
"What do you mean? I'm here to party with friends, of course."
"I'm not here to do that. I'm here to find someone cute to flirt with."
Lloyd's face turned pink.
He soon forgot all about locating his friends. He spent the next hour talking and dancing with the stranger, spinning and moving in sync. A whole meadow full of tulips and daisies was growing inside of him. He could imagine the warm sunlight beaming down and the cool summer breeze.
"Man, I need to sit down before I fall over," Lloyd laughed.
"Yeah, same." The man took his hand. "Come on, let's go find a quieter place to talk."
"Wait, are we allowed out of the ballroom?"
"Who's gonna know we left?" He asked with a sly grin.
"That is not a reassuring answer!"
Lloyd protested more, but let himself be dragged out of the ballroom anyway. They poked their heads into a few rooms before finally finding a small sitting room.
"This is perfect!" The stranger said, "No one will have any reason to be in here. We can talk here."
"We could've stayed in the ballroom for that."
"It would've been hard to hear you, though." He smirked and stepped closer to him. "Unless you'd rather we had to be this close to hear each other?"
"Uh—This place is fine!"
They sat on chairs on opposite sides of the room. It was dark, very dimly lit by the lamps on either side of the door. There were old bookshelves lining the walls adjacent to the entrance. It was cozy.
"Did you make your mask yourself?" The man asked.
"No, I'm not nearly talented enough for that. A friend made it for me. Did you make yours?"
"Yep! I mean, I didn't make the actual mask part, I just decorated it, but still."
"I don't have much artistic talent," Lloyd chuckled.
"Well, you don't have to be good at everything like I am," He replied with a sassy hair flip.
"Everything, huh? Can you even name something else?"
"I'm good in combat, which I'm really proud of. What else?..." He put his finger to his chin, pretending to think. "I'm pretty good at flirting~"
The blonde groaned and looked away. The guy was super cocky. He hated that his head spun whenever the stranger said anything even slightly suggestive; but he also kind of liked it, which made him even more flustered than he already was.
"It's cute how shy you are."
"I'm not usually shy!" Lloyd exclaimed, "I can be tough! I just feel really out of place at a big, fancy ball." And in romantic situations...
He didn't realize how much time had passed until he glanced at the clock on the wall opposite the door.
"Oh my gosh, it's 1:50!" He exclaimed, "The ball's almost over!"
"Where you planning on leaving early?"
"No, but my friends are probably worried about me!"
Lloyd stood up and checked his phone. He had tons of texts from his friends asking where he was. He quickly texted them back to apologize for not responding and to let them know he was fine.
He shoved his phone back into his pocket. "They're gonna kill me for making them worry."
The man stood up as well. "I'm sure they'll understand that you just wanted to flirt with someone."
Lloyd squinted his eyes in response. The stranger gave him a smug look.
He took a step closer to Lloyd and dropped his cocky attitude. "Can... can I kiss you?"
Lloyd's face flushed red. "I-I don't even know who you are!"
The man chuckled, "Is that your only objection?"
He stared down at the ground. The stranger placed his hand under Lloyd's chin and lifted it. He blushed harder. The two locked eyes.
"My name's Morro," He whispered.
He closed the gap between them. Warmth quickly spread throughout Lloyd's body, and he melted into the kiss. He ran his fingers through Morro's hair. They parted for a second to breathe, and immediately found each other's lips again. Morro pulled Lloyd's waist closer to him.
Lloyd had never kissed someone before. He felt dizzy, his brain overwhelmed by the rush of dopamine. The feeling was addicting. He wanted more of it.
Morro pulled away from him, and ran the back of his hand across Lloyd's cheek. He worried he was going to collapse onto the floor.
"Can I have your number? I wanna see you again," Morro said.
Lloyd failed to bite back a smile. He gave him his phone number, and Morro put Lloyd's name in the contact.
"What!? How did you know who I was?"
"There aren't many people on a first name basis with Queen Vania. So, unless one of your friends decided to drastically change their hair for this event, it was definitely you."
Lloyd facepalmed at his slip-up. So much for being anonymous.
"Until next time, Lloyd," He said with a wink.
He left the room. Lloyd stayed and tried to sort out the mess of emotions he was feeling. His heart was fluttering, his body felt weak, his mind was foggy... He was high off a level of giddiness he hadn't known existed.
He stood there for a minute, processing what had just happened. Until...
Cole was lying down on his bed, thinking. He decided he was screwed, so incredibly screwed.
He hadn't meant for this to happen. After the Hands of Time had vanished, it was suddenly peaceful in Ninjago. He'd felt safe and comfortable, especially around his close friend Zane. He'd let his guard down, and he was facing the consequences.
His heart began to flutter whenever Zane smiled at him, and his face heated up whenever he gave him a compliment. Cole tried to ignore his feelings, but it was difficult. Every part of him wanted to latch onto Zane and never let go. He needed to figure out what to do before he did something stupid.
The Sons of Garmadon and the Oni had forced him to put a pause on sorting out his feelings. But, they'd been dealt with, and now life was back to normal. Well, apart from the fact that Cole was crushing on Zane even harder than before.
They'd shared little moments together that made his heart flutter, such as when they went undercover to spy on the Sons of Garmadon. He was pretty sure he'd almost fainted when he'd seen Zane's disguise. It was incredibly unfair that he looked good in everything.
But Zane had a girlfriend, and he was clearly very happy with her. So, Cole was screwed.
Jay poked his head into Cole’s room. “Hey, lunch is ready!”
Cole rolled out of his bed and walked into the dining room.
Zane grinned and waved at him when he saw him. He awkwardly smiled and waved back. He sat in one of the chairs.
Zane’s face lit up as Pixal entered the room. Cole’s heart felt heavy. Was it jealousy? Loneliness? He wasn't sure. Probably both.
He listened to his friends talk as he ate. He spent the next half an hour trying not to obviously gaze at Zane. Everyone, including Cole, complimented his cooking. He beamed, his sky blue eyes glistening with pride. Cole’s cheeks turned pink.
“Cole, may I talk to you about something?” Pixal asked.
He snapped out of his trance. “Uh, yeah?”
Pixal led him to her bedroom, which made him nervous. Why had she singled him out? Why couldn't she talk to him in front of everyone else?
“So… what did you wanna talk about?” He asked.
She hesitated. “Forgive me for asking this if I’m wrong, I am not the best at social cues. But, do you have romantic feelings for Zane?”
Cole’s face turned bright red. He stuttered over his words. He was unable to say anything comprehensible, so he shut his mouth.
“I believe I have figured out the answer to my question.”
“I-I’m not gonna flirt with him or anything! I wouldn't—I would never get in-between you two!”
“I never said you would. I only wanted to be certain instead of acting based on an assumption.”
He hung his head. “You’re gonna ask me to keep my distance from him.”
Pixal cocked her head to the side. “What? No, I was going to tell you it’s okay to try and pursue him. I do not mind sharing him. I just want him to be happy, and I think you would try as hard as I do to make him happy.”
He reeled. “Oh. I, um, was kind of expecting you to be mad at me.”
She grinned at him. “Even if I did not want to share him, I wouldn’t be upset at you for having feelings for him. You cannot control who you are attracted to.”
He grinned back, feeling incredibly relieved.
There was a knock on Pixal’s door.
“Hey, we’re gonna start the movie without you,” Nya warned.
“It appears as though we have business to attend to,” She said.
Cole chuckled, “I guess we do.”
They moved to the living room. All the other ninja were either sitting comfortably on the couch or had been banished to the floor.
She sat down on the floor next to Zane. Cole hesitantly sat beside him as well. He tried to focus on the movie. But he was flustered from his conversation with Pixal, and now he was sitting next to Zane. It was hard to pay attention to anything other than him.
He could just barely hear Zane ask Pixal what their conversation was about and if Cole was okay. She told Zane to talk to him. His heart began to race. He’s gonna talk to me about it!? What am I supposed to tell him!?
The movie was over sooner than Cole would've liked. Zane instantly pulled him aside, and he still had no idea what to do. He stared down at the floor, his heart beating even faster than it ever had.
“Cole, are you all right?” Zane asked. “You’ve been rather quiet lately.”
“I’m fine,” He answered quickly.
Zane frowned. “I am afraid I do not believe you. Please, tell me what’s wrong.”
“Nothing’s wrong, you don’t have to worry about me.”
“I care about you, of course I worry.”
Cole fidgeted with his hands. He gazed into Zane’s shiny blue eyes, and blush spread across his face. The heartache that had lingered in the background of his emotions was fronting. He was going to break.
“You can tell me anything, I promise,” Zane insisted.
Cole sighed, “I just—I really like you in a romantic way. I didn’t wanna get between you and Pixal, but she figured out I liked you and she said she would be fine with some form of polyamory. But I don’t think you like me that way, and I don’t want things to be awkward between us. But I also feel like my heart is gonna explode every time I look at you. I don’t know what to do. I—”
Zane gently placed his hands on Cole’s shoulders. “Deep breaths, I do not want you to have a panic attack.” He chuckled.
Cole took a breath. He focused on Zane’s gentle touch as he slid his hands down to Cole’s.
“I must admit I am... surprised by your confession, I had no idea you had romantic feelings for me. And I must also admit that I’ve been experiencing romantic feelings for you for a few weeks now.”
His eyes lit up. “Really?”
“You always notice when I feel upset and come to comfort me. You make an effort to spend time with me. You compliment me any chance you get… We would obviously need to talk to Pixal about this, but I would love it if we could be partners.”
Cole smiled softly at him. “You have no idea how much I’d love that as well.”
I’ve had my fics locked on ao3 since AI scalping started getting popular, but people are making accounts to feed fics to AI anyway. And if I decide to free them, I’ll finally have something to post here lol
Hello everyone. We would like to inform you that, for the time being, we will keep our auditions for joining our production team open. We are still currently looking for a third editor to join our project. This means that you will be working with our Editor Manager, Indi, as well as our Editor, Rokneer.
Your job in the project would include the following:
Editing in the new audio lines,
Trim episodes according to the Script Organiser's notes
Handling the selection and insertion of both new music and sound effects
In your application, please provide the following:
The name/s you go by,
Your Pronouns,
The best email to contact you for callbacks,
Two to four sentences on why you're interested in joining the project,
What software/s you use
There is a preference for Movavi 2022 or Premiere, as those are the software our current editors use. However, other software will be accepted, provided there is no watermark. Both prior experience with editing and a willingness to learn will be factored in when looking over applications,,
Clips of your prior editing work, up to three examples
They can be included in the email, in a linked Google Drive, or linked YouTube videos
While you would be working as an editor, it is also expected that you aid in script writing like all current project members do, voice acting isn't required, though if you wish to, we are more than happy for you to.
For those of you who may want to join this project for just script writing and voice acting, worry not, we will eventually be hosting auditions for just those in the future.
To apply, please contact us at [email protected]. Having an email you're comfortable sharing with our Manager, Prism is required for both applications and script writing.
The reason for the latter is due to us doing all our script writing on Ellipsus, a program that only allows writing collaborators to be added to a document if they are added via email.
Any questions can be directed through the NinjaStop Tumblr.
Welcome, Welcome! You’ve made it to the blog for our fun little Ninjago fan project, Ninjastop! Hello!
Now, either, you’re here because you’re a part of this project, you’re here because you’re friends with someone who’s a part of the project and they’ve encouraged you to check it out, or you stumbled across this project some other way (which is incredible, by the way, and means things are going well somewhere). If you are either of the latter two, you may be wondering:
Wait, so what actually is Ninjastop?
Well, in short, we’re a fan made not-for-profit parody of the LEGO Ninjago TV Show.
In a bit longer, we’re here to mess around with the plot and dialogue of your favourite spinny little plastic guys as much as is reasonable, and have a whole lot of fun in the process.
In even longer again, Ninjastop Productions is a group of dedicated fans to the LEGO® NINJAGO® franchise, who have decided to create an abridged parody fandub of the show. We’ve take the plot and dialogue of the show and flipped it on its head as much as is possible in the given medium while still staying true(ish) to the characters and not putting too much strain on our editors, creating a fun little series for you to watch and for us to create, with lots of work, dedication, and effort from the team.
That feels like a solid enough overview, so let’s get into some
Other Important Details
First and foremost, we intend to keep the general public updated on the progression of this project right here on tumblr, so make sure to follow this blog if you’re interested.
Secondly, make sure to hit up the Project’s YouTube Channel, @/ninjastop-productions and give that a subscribe. We’ve actually just finished up production on the first pilot episode, and intend to release it soon-ish, so you won’t want to miss that!
Soon, you’ll be able to meet our Cast & Crew, via a team introductions post that we (the tumblr admins) intend to put up soon. Once that’s up, a link to it will be added into this post here.
We will keep this pinned post updated with any relevant links & information as the project progresses, and thank you so much for checking us out!
okay i have been aware of the idol au in my periphery for a bit but i actually don't know too much about it so!!! pls do tell 🎤
There are so many details, what on Earth do I talk about uhhh
I trans’d Lloyd, she is ✨ Luna ✨ in that universe
She enters a competition to try and become an idol before giving up and settling for a normal life
When she makes it through the first round, she gets to meet a bunch of other idols. Most importantly, the two previous winners, Morro and Harumi
I also trans’d Morro, I just didn’t change her name
There’s some drama and serious stuff amidst the fluff and romance, mostly things related to the k-pop industry and how idols are treated
But I think the biggest thing to mention is I meant for it to be Morro/Lloyd, but Harumi kept going “I wanna join 🥺” so now it’s Morro/Lloyd/Harumi. Does that mean no one is gonna read it? Probably. Am I still gonna make someone beta read it? Definitely. 😂
Hopefully I’ll get some people rooting for the ship in this specific circumstance. I have been told by a few people that they don’t like greenwind unless it’s written by me, which always makes me 🥹
Rules: post the names of all the files in your WIP folder regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous. Let people send you an ask with the title that most intrigues them, and then post a little snippet of it or tell them something about it! And then tag as many people as you have WIPs. I have deemed that this isn’t just for writing either. Sketch titles? Comics? DnD campaigns? If you have an unfinished project, it counts!!
Hi everyone! In honor of fanfic writer appreciation day, bringing this back!
My insane taglist under the cut, but if you see this in the wild feel free to jump on!!
tagging people from nwod and fic fest! ignore the ping if you didn't want it sorry dfkjlgh but i find these fun and thought some of you might, too :D
