Introductory post!

I’m Indo, also known as Indoraptor954 or IndoMation on my various socials. I am a digital artist, animator, and cosplayer of many years.

This blog will be mainly for posting my art (when I actually make it) and cosplays. My art until recently has remained strictly dragons, but I am expanding my horizons.

My special interests outside of fandoms and media include:

Herpetology, paleontology, animatronics/robotics, puppetry, cosplay, and stop motion animation.

Behind my art

The tools I use behind my digital art include:

Procreate, iPad Pro 11 inch, Apple Pencil generation 2, various brushes by other people, and a Sketchboard pro.

Commissions

I do not usually take commissions, it’s best to assume they’re closed unless I post something stating otherwise. Examples and commission info can be found here on my carrd.

Boundaries

I do not have many boundaries yet — this will be expanded upon later. But let’s start with the basics:

DNI proshippers, zoos/pedos, homo/transphobes, racists, pro trump, etc.

If you recognize my cosplay at a convention, I’d much rather prefer that you didn’t mention you recognized me. It just makes me feel kind of uncomfortable especially with still being a minor. I am okay with others asking for photos, though! :)

The three aesthetics that I cannot get enough of: baroque renaissance era Catholicism. With solemn angels and dark wood and marble. The pure, unadulterated bleakness of space. The isolation of an astronaut. The unsettlingness of the universe. And the inherent gore of technology. The intimacy of wires. The organs of motherboards. The heat that emanates from machines as a mockery of life.

Project Hail Mary has altered my brain I think. Anyways as soon as The Nerds come out with a good quality STL file of his movie version I’m making him a life sized puppet to take to Fan Expo. His two front legs will be on rods (like the muppets) and the rest limp. I think I can pull off putting stings in his hands so I can open/close his fingers, and I’m going to put a Bluetooth speaker on him so my handler can play his voice lines.

If you’re not aware, you can get free STL files of the little xenonite figure of Grace that he made! I’m thinking of handing those out
