REVIEW: TORI AMOS – DURHAM PERFORMING ARTS CENTER, DURHAM NC – 20TH AUGUST 2014.

"The last time North Carolina native Tori Amos (★★★★★) graced her home state for a show was in 2009. Thankfully, she decided to drop by the Durham Performing Arts Center on her international Unrepentant Geraldines tour. Some Tori fans even showed up hours before the show to see if they could catch a glimpse of her by her tour bus or have a short meet and greet before the show. A few minutes before showtime, a lot of fans chattered excitedly about the setlist and what to expect."

REVIEW: 3 DOORS DOWN – DURHAM PERFORMING ARTS CENTER, DURHAM NC – 17TH AUGUST 2014.

"3 Doors Down (★★★★★) embarked on the Songs from the Basement tour to shine a fresh light on their existing music for the public, and show us how their creative process works. This is, by no means, your typical acoustic show, because the band furnished the stage with things you might find in a typical basement, and invited select fans to sit on comfy couches on the stage during the performance. Shows do not really get much more down to earth than that, and this band put on a warm, inviting set to go with their on-stage vibe."

REVIEW: LOWER THAN ATLANTIS – LOWER THAN ATLANTIS.

"It seems as though bands who go through tough times in their career will come out fighting in the end, entering a new period of fruitful creativity. That’s certainly been the case for Lower Than Atlantis - since 2012, they’ve signed to major label Island, released their rather lacklustre third album Changing Tune and left Island for Sony, as well as genuinely considering whether to end the band for good, with frontman Mike Duce even saying that, depending on the reaction, this could well be their last album."

"The Crowd Surf America tour stopped at Ziggy’s in Winston-Salem with co-headliners Chiodos and Blessthefall to get some kids off their feet. The crowd streamed in early not wanting to miss a minute of this show, and they definitely got their money’s worth."

REVIEW: THE FRONT BOTTOMS – KING TUTS, GLASGOW – 27TH AUGUST 2014.

"It might be easier to describe tonight with one word and one word only: sweat. But where’s the fun in that? Tonight is the third time that King Tuts has been graced with the presence of The Front Bottoms in the space of two years. Seeing as the show tonight is sold out, it’s safe to assume they’ve came, saw, and conquered this venue."
