I'm either being possessed by ideas, or I am a mad man trying to write enough fills for Fluffy July knowing I have too much going on next week to not have a good buffer in the final week and half.
I'm praying it's possession.
It has to be possession, some of the prompts has brought 2k worth of words because I was having that much fun.

Fluffy July: Day 19 - Forehead to Forehead Touches
Aziraphale let out a long sigh in the empty shop, not quite willing to bring himself to open up today. The street outside was quiet, so it wasn't like his safe haven would be needed for wandering souls or hopeful book buyers. Maybe he could sit in his armchair, read another Jane Austen book to pass the day. That would definitely ease the headache he was feeling forming. Behind him the bell above the door rang, and Aziraphale frowned as he was certain the door was locked. "We are most definitely closed, I'm afraid." "I'm back." "Crowley?" Aziraphale turned around, eyes wide as he was greeted with the sight of Crowley stood at the bottom of the step. It brought relief to see him, to know he was out of Hell in the very least.
It's been nearly two decades since Edinburgh, 1827. Crowley finally returns from Hell.
I accidentally made this minor hurt and comfort, with huge emphasis on the comfort. There's a soft moment at the end, but I definitely failed fluff here overall. But I had a specific image, and post Edinburgh fit the image best when I tried writing. So I hope it's still enjoyable.

We were talking about the implication in the book where Crowley does not wear shoes and his snakeskin shoes are his feet…and then I said, what if his scales are like those reversible sequin pillows and one side is a shoe and the other side is feet
Fluffy July: Day 18 - Beaded Bracelets
"So what's yours supposed to be?" Pepper enquired from the side of him, and Aziraphale let out a small 'uuuh' as he stared down at the small pile of black beads that he'd managed so far to paint half red. The small details weren't on yet, and in fact the paint wasn't even all that even. But art took time. Apparently. "Well… it's going to be a snake. I hope. But I still need to add the details." Aziraphale looked at the bead in his hand, at the red paint he'd painted in a line on what would be the underbelly. It needed some kind of scale detail really to help it feel like a snake, otherwise they'd just be black beads with a line of red through them. And yellow eyes at one end.
An afternoon spent making bracelets, with some sentimental design choices.

Fluffy July: Day 14 - Accidental Love Confessions
Crowley began to walk over, glasses in place again and he half blended into the scene. Smoke and the dark night swallowing into the night if not for the small fires burning under rubble. He walked past Aziraphale, as he fussed with the brim on his hat against his chest. The concept of losing all those first editions ate at him. "Oh, they'll all be blown to…" "Little demonic miracle of my own…" Suddenly in front of him Crowley was holding the satchel aloft. Perfectly intact, not a scratch on the leather. Not even dust of the stone had settled on the satchel. The demon was giving no real emotion as he kept it held out, Aziraphale confusingly taking the bag gently and their fingers barely brushed. Staring at Crowley as he sought the answers to what was happening, even after Crowley had explained. 'Little demonic miracle' he called it. Like this was some small act, insignificant. To Aziraphale he'd just been handed the loudest love confession he'll ever witness, and it made his heart swell.
1941, Crowley gave a very loud, but accidental, love confession in the form of saving a bag containing some books.

You know what’s absolutely wild about Good Omens? The fact that Aziraphale and Crowley are basically the Swiss Army knife of shipping material.
Like, do you want a tender queerplatonic slow-burn? ✅
Angsty centuries-long emotional repression? ✅
Enemies-to-lovers-but-make-it-divine? ✅
Fluffy domestic immortals bickering about bookshops and plants? ✅
Horny “six thousand years of sexual tension and finally snapping”? ✅✅✅
They are simultaneously:
- the most married old couple you’ve ever seen
- two clueless idiots who still don’t realize they’re in love
- mythological archetypes made for fanfiction fuel
Basically, they’re not just characters. They’re a whole genre.
Fluffy July: Day 17 - Dancing In The Rain
Glancing up at Crowley, a thought crossed Aziraphale's mind. "Have you ever just… had fun in the rain?" "Fun? How can you have fun in the rain? It's wet, and cold. Which are the least fun sounding descriptions ever." Crowley didn't sound impressed by the question, but he wasn't impressed by the weather either. So Aziraphale didn't take it to heart, instead looking back out. The street was empty now, the garden square ahead a potential shield from people's eyes with the tree's lining the edge. Music was playing from another nearby restaurant, and Aziraphale had a sudden request. However, if he asked he'd be denied. That was a given. So instead he decided the request was an urge, a desire. One he'd simply take.
The rain could of ruined their dinner date. Aziraphale gets inspired on how to keep enjoying themselves.

I should have been in bed hours ago.
But I was possessed writing drunk Aziraphale and Crowley and I am beyond amused by the 2k words outcome.
Here's one of my favourite lines:
"Oh! Then I'm all ears."
Aziraphale was not all ears, he was mostly white curls and a long torso filled with nerves so Crowley didn't understand the sentence.
I got like 6 hours of sleep, and I would like to file a complaint against myself for how tired I feel.
It's 5am.
I should have been in bed hours ago.
But I was possessed writing drunk Aziraphale and Crowley and I am beyond amused by the 2k words outcome.
Here's one of my favourite lines:

I haven’t painted anything in months and I feel like I’m quite out of practice, so have a very loose repaint of La Gimblette by Jean-Honoré Fragonard I made today to get me back into painting.
there are a lot of Extremely Married moments in good omens, but I maintain that the Most Married moment is when crowley says out of nowhere, “ducks! they’re what water slides off.” and aziraphale heaves a deeply put-upon sigh and says, “….just drive the car.”
a close runner up is when Aziraphale wants to do magic at Warlock’s birthday party and Crowley just goes, “Make you disappear”, and Aziraphale’s not put out in the slightest
and third place goes to “Oh Lord, heal this bike”
“Not you, I know what you smell like.”
I’m sorry, but the Most Married Moment is the compromise:
A: “You lost the child.” C: “We lost the child.” A: “A child has been lost.”
Fluffy July: Day 16 - Wings
A sequel from day 5.
"When did you last groom your wings?" "I beg your pardon?" Aziraphale looked up from his book "I said, when did you last groom your wings. Last night, when we was walking, I noticed they looked… messy." A frown filled Crowley's face, as he recalled how the wings looked once he'd paid attention. Several white feathers had been stuck at an odd angle, the feather-barbs broken or damaged. They looked bulkier, fluffed up and so damn uncomfortable. Crowley's hands had itched since to fix the problem.
Crowley had noticed that Aziraphale's wings didn't look well groomed on their walk. So he decides to take matters into his own hands.
Thank you to @gaslightgallows whose comment gave me inspiration to fill today's prompt with some wing grooming. Crowley did, indeed, have thoughts. And only one solution to those thoughts.

I just wanted Aziraphale to be happy and loved as himself. That's it. I don't see why that was asking too much of Good Omens 3. I wanted him to finally get to live freely and happily with his beloved as he deserved. He fought like mad to do the right thing, and he earned his happily ever after.
I needed this:
And no, that ending did not give him that.
At this point, it feels like Fluffy July is just me trying to hit all the main history points of Aziraphale and Crowley.
It's not on purpose, and yet...
It's either I go through their history or get stuck days after Armageddon in a loop. At least there is variety.
