Ondine is a friendly sea witch living in the depths of the sea, hence the luminescence quality of hair and certain parts of her body. She controls a strange one-eyed elemental being that aids her in illuminating the way, specially important when investigating the vast unknown depths. - My first time entering Mermay! Most of you know by now that my absolute favorite thing to draw and paint is faces. I love to paint all things, but faces have always drawn me for how interesting they all are, all the things you have to consider and how easy it is to look off - so the challenge is one that I enjoy doing. So much to be hyped about! This last Saturday I met one of my art heroes, @stephensilver7! His workshop was everything I was expecting and even more, so much insight into character design, mindset and the business part of art. Found how caricature is such a great way to approach design. I could be all day writing about all the things we learned, but I think the most important thing, for me, was another proof to just doing it. Nothing to lose, right? Right!
