The glow of her magic fades as she waits for him to adjust to what will no doubt be a strangely empty sensation. He reacts well enough, she thinks. No doubt relieved that at least the physical shape of his eyes have remained. But when he finally opens them, it comes as no surprise to see flat white as a foil to her own. But even with the small amount of time he has given himself, she can clearly see his distress, and she offers him a reassuring smile. Kindness will get her farther with this one.
