It's been awhile since I made one of these so I've decided to make a brand new intro post for any poor souls who happen to stumble upon my mess of an "art" blog

Hello! my name is Carmen although I'm known as Astro online! as I've said b4 this is supposed to be my art blog but I lost the plot at some point and well...it's still mainly an art blog but with some other stuff mixed in sometimes lmao

I do art mainly for fun and if you somehow like my dumb art that much feel free to use it however you like! Just do like a quick heads up or credit me or something idk

Also I may not always answer right away and I am really awkward when personally responding to people I don't know, but whether it be for any art requests, song recs, whatever random question you have, or even just a simple "hi" my inbox and dms are always open! My only rule is to just use common sense ok? ^^

ngl ever since i've been trying to put more of an effort to cross post more of my art on my other socials it's been kinda strange to see any of it get any sort of attention whether it be just a couple of likes to 100+

downloading some ps2 games for my sister for her to play when I suddenly got reminded of xenosaga's existence

I haven't played through chapter 5 of deltarune yet so idk a thing that happens in it atm

what I do know tho is that ralsei wears a dress at some point lol

I used this tutorial on psx-place in order to start the whole process on my ps3 slim (great place for ps hacking/homebrew news btw, also came to this place for my vita lol) I have a launch slim model CECH-20XX which *is* capable of running CFW but since my sister is only gonna use it to play games and literally nothing else I instead just used HEN/HFW, it's easier to install and poses less risk of accidentally bricking your console if this is your first time doing something like this, with some downsides being more prone to freezing, not having as much freedom as CFW, and having to reactivate it each boot up (HEN works on every model tho, even super slim)

also normally when doing this type of stuff I don't use video tutorials since a lot of the time they're outdated and whatnot but I heard this video tutorial by MrMario2011 is a pretty good one if you prefer to do it that way (i've followed him for years now due to him being a good channel for console hacking/mods, plus he updates his tutorial videos every time there's a new patch with the video I linked being his most recent one for 4.93 a.k.a. the most recent patch)

this site is also good central hub if you have any other questions such as creating back ups, general troubleshooting, or other mundane things like ps2 game compatibility or upgrading your storage.
