summary: Josephine and Draco share a vulnerable moment where they open up about the pain, trauma, and struggles they’ve kept hidden from everyone else. As they begin to understand each other, their connection deepens and they realize they don’t have to face their darkest moments alone.
draco hadn’t looked away. his eyes remained fixed on the pale scars crossing her forearm. not with pity. just… confusion.
“…josephine.”
she closed her eyes.
“please don’t.”
his voice was quieter than she’d ever heard it.
“what happened?”
a bitter laugh escaped her.
“you really want to know?”
“i wouldn’t have asked if I didn’t.”
she slowly pulled her sleeve back down, her fingers trembling as she struggled to button the cuff.
“they’re old.”
he watched her hands.
“they don’t look accidental.”
she stopped trying to hide them. for a long moment, she simply stared at the floor. then she let out a shaky breath.
“i’ve never told anyone this before.”
draco frowned.
“what?”
“i mean…” she swallowed. “i’ve never actually said it out loud.”

figuring out the stranger things timeline takes so much brain power holy hell. i was happily writing away and then remembered how fucking big the gap between the end of s1 and the start of s2 is and now im gonna have to reshuffle everything in my fic. goddamnit
don't even get me started on figuring out everyones school years in relation to eachother. americans. why does every year have a funny name. why.
no. because i was going to start my fic earlier than season 4 but the timeline broke my brain. and i have to keep rewatching certain scenes and look at the episode transcripts to try and make all the information make sense. or locations… having to cross reference maps and the show is just time consuming.
i just got over my like 3 month long writers block, and i was writing a chapter in a day and taking breaks in between, and now i am stuck on one chapter. like come on now.
