Iāve been wanting to make at LEAST make designs for a crossover comic, so when MOTM took over my brain I jumped on the high!! Hereās Cup, Mug, Bendy, Boris, Audrey and Chalice!!
(My only knowledge of Cuphead is from the game, I havenāt seen the show and Iāll be honest Iām not sure if I want to. Also I suck at backgrounds so hard)
Iāll admit Iām not very proud of Audreyās, but Iām also still figuring out an exact style, since I donāt think Iāve ever had a consistent one, so sheāll probably look better later. Otherwise I am very proud of them and the base story idea I have! Speaking of:
Introduction:
On Inkwell Isles, there are two places anyone over 30 will warn you of nearing. The Casino, the one everyone knows of, run by the devil himself, and the Studio. Not many remember the studio, as it shut its doors some time ago and was later hidden behind a magic ward. The youngsters donāt know of the studio, and few who knew of it have just about forgotten.
But the memory of a warning from Elder Kettle rings in the boys minds years after their fight with the Devil. Surely they could take some abandoned studio on if they could beat the Devil himself! But finding the rumored Studio proves harder than expected when the boys must find a guide just to get there, and information on the place is scarce. Chalice attempts to help in the search, but only because she canāt help but get a bad feeling whenever itās mentioned. She isnāt sure, but she thinks she used to know something about the place.
Meanwhile, in the studio itself, Few toons remain sane. Fewer still can maintain their original form. Driven insane from their treatment and then abandonment, most toons have become hostile, to each other, to nothing, to any sane toon, to anything. Some keep critical thinking, but most lose even that much. One toon has found himself in a form of limbo, as if his sanity were controlled by emotion and form. The toons inside the studio just want out. But none are sure how. But just maybe, help will come from the outside.
..thatās such a bad summary of the idea lol, but basically Joey Drew Studio is on Inkwell Isle, had been closed down for near 3 decades, and very few people still even know about this 11 years after the Devilās defeat lol. The Devil is still alive, heās just been inactive since, and no one is 100% sure why. ^^
