Hello Inky! I was wondering, if you don't mind my asking, do you ever go back and listen to your hs music? If so, which ones are your favorites and which ones do you not enjoy as much. yes sometimes i do, although tbh the one i go back and listen to the most frequently is a terrible rap i wrote in like 10 minutes for the les miserables fandom bc it makes me laugh the most

im less inclined to listen to tracks where i used cruel language for the sake of 'characterization'. i had 2 songs where i used the r slur and that sucks - yeah the characters in the comic used it but whats the point of adding something mean spirited into a song when u don't have to. like no one asked for that. disappointing!

overall i think of my homestuck music era very fondly tho. it was truly a chapter of my life that i cherished and it meant so much to me. <3 it all happened mostly during my gap year from high school to college and i was pretty lonely bc all my friends had moved away for uni so it was rly nice to make friends online!

question for anyone who uses tumblr on safari: are there any extensions like xkit that allow you to hover over the reblog button and set up a post (add tags, caption it, queue it) without opening a pop up reblog 'window'? this was truly the only way to use tumblr

oh god it must feel insane to play guildenstern every night and say that line at the end "There must have been a moment, at the beginning, where we could have said--no. But somehow we missed it. Well, we'll know better next time." Like an audience only has to see it play out once but as that actor every single night for months you have to watch this character re-forget and make the same choices and fight against the same tide towards the inevitable conclusion and swear that there's a way to do it differently next time. rinse repeat.
