The Witcher, a quick 11pm sketch

What is Inktober? It is definitely a challenge in all ways. You have to put your sh*t together every day and draw/paint throughout the whole month. 31 day - 31 sketches. This is not about inspiration as it is, but rather about persistence, motivation and self-discipline (the qualities I’m sometimes missing). Here is your inspiration: in staying on track, proving yourself you can do it despite all the routine staff and even willing to sacrifice your bedtime (yes, that’s super-important:). This year the general topic for all my sketches was Tolkien’s Legendarium (massive fan since middle school), so it was twice interesting. The key idea of the challenge is evolution. You draw every day, you constantly improve your skills, you grow! I even recalled some long-forgotten tricks from the art school finished like 100500 years ago.

And finally, I’d like to thank all of you my friends (or mellyn:) who supported me along this journey, liked and reposted my pics. Honestly on October 1st I didn’t believe in myself, I was going to draw only seldom and skip a lot of days. But I’ve managed to complete the challenge without skipping, all thanks to the support received.

I feel very sad that it’s all over now, and I need some more motivation to keep on drawing, so would be very grateful if you give me some ideas!
